We have considered double click for Turbo at the beginning, but then Strobe will go to triple click, and it will take longer time to carry out Strobe, and if you need Strobe, normally should be using it during a emergency, therefore you will expect it to come out more quickly.
We will consider ramping in our other products, you mentioned moonlight, but do you mean 1lm when you said 11lm because we already set moonlight 1lm?
Answers to your questions:
Constant current with Temp Auto Regulation
2-3. SST40 6000-6500K
Looks interesting. Its a common size format and good to see you are lifting the lumen level to 1600 as there are many models on the market of a similar design with 1000.
You may want to consider offering warmer tints too on the led.
I think Folomov had “tactical” and “outdoor” modes similarly. Nitefox, too.
Anything with blinkies not very well hidden is disliked by many. By the time someone thinks, “Oh, there’s someone trying to kill me, let me doubleclick to start strobe”, he dead. Strobe just annoys and angers killers, makes them want to kill you more.
Hi Unheard, thanks for your comment.
(1)Total without using tailswitch, we may need to apply dual battery tubes. If you need to click the tailswitch first, then it is not a problem, then it is not as good as a flashlight with only side switch, in this case we will have product like this in near future.
(2)That works exactly like that, once you activate Moonlight, click on side switch you will go to Low.
(3)10-20 lumens for what kind of scenario?
(4)I also assume Lux-P meant 1 lumen.
5000K looks a little yellowish, not sure how other people think about 5000K or if any other idea.
Low for orientation in the dark, preserving battery capacity, and moon for preserving night vision. 100 lumen is already very bright, and 11 lumen will destroy night vision. Currently you have low, mid1, mid2, … but not moon.
Please see with your own eyes. 5000K is neutral white and not considered yellowish.
Thanks for your comment Lightbringer, yeah, can’t agree with you more, I have used flashlight with SOS and Strobe cycle with Low, Mid, High, I just put it somewhere.
Double click is not too bad, not too easy to activate. Hope to gather more idea, so that we can satisfy most people’s demand.
Thanks Unheard,
Agree with Low setting for the point of preserving battery capacity. Regards the Moon setting, now we have Moonlight output with 1 lumen. Regards the tints, are you okay with tint in the picture?
I know the SST-40@5000K, used it in a Convoy C8 and Sofirns SP33V3. Yes, I’d prefer it.
Your picture shows a white balance that’s a little off due to the camera seeing cold white as white. If it had used the 5000K light, the CW would look plain blue.
Edit: Please have a look at Armytek lights - IIRC, they use something like 4000K as “warm light” and 5000K as “white light”.
What’s mode order on outdoor? From lowest to highest is the best in my opinion. Also when moonlight was turned on with shortcut (double tail click), the next mode (after side click) should be low.
IMO output levels should be more like 0,5 - 8 - 100 - 500 - 1600.

I just can’t see past ‘YakHorse’ even though it doesn’t say that.

G0OSE, the meaning of YAKORSEI is nocturnal, Japanese pronunciation.
Nocturnal夜行性Yakō-sei[/quote]
THAT is really good.
Thank you for explaining it, I honestly think you should write that on the box and in the instructions to give it some exposure - most names are just made up - this one however has a relevant meaning, and that is rare so far as I know. Very good choice of name.
