~~ENDED~~ [US Only] Free Thrunite Ti3 v2 on Thrunite.com (with $5.95 shipping fee)

Just got my NW in! I love the spacing, and I just learned about the hidden strobe! Very cool! Thinking of picking up a CW just to see how it compares. Also, I tend to always lose my AAA lights… I can’t find about 3-4 of them I think.

From L to R:
Thrunite Ti3 V2 Neutral White
BLF Singfire 348
Lumintop Tool AAA
Olight i3E EOS

I love the fog shot! I find myself pointing my flashlight into a vape cloud any time a new light shows up to visualize hot spot and spill.

Oy! Where’d you get that brown one? It niiiiiiice.

Well, before the NW I ordered arrived (arriving today), I went ahead and ordered a CW as well. While I was at it, I threw in a green T1 too. Do I really have nothing better to spend my money on?

Just got one of the CW delivered and it looks good, don’t need to try the NW if it has green.

Will order more for gifts.
Thanks to the OP!

The Desert tan i3E was available on the Olight website as freebies (if you buy over $49) or free (just pay $5 shipping) coupon months ago I think.

I got the UV one in that really nice green for postage.

Looked at all the i3es when I was up there and didn’t see any other colors… just black I think.

OK so I just ordered 2 more to have for gifts. I think this is really a smart move on Thrunite’s part. Get people experiencing their brand and people will see that they make really good product!

Just traded my grandson an SC31B to get my TH20 back. Will give him one of the Ti3s as well to make it a better trade;-)

If anyone from Thrunite is monitoring this thread I hope you can source a clip like the one I showed pictures of in another thread. The TH20 with a clip is very useful. I am very happy to have it back. Still carry the Ti3 just because it is so nice useful and unobtrusive.

Thrunite is a really under rated brand. I have a tn4a hi and a tn40 and are really happy with both. The tn4a hi throws like a mofo for a 4xAA light! just ordered a TI3 v2, thanks to the OP.

I play a game with my wife, it’s called “What is the retail value of this flashlight and how much did Keith pay for it?”

I pitch the product, in this case told her how hard it is to get really low sub lumen outputs with high efficiency LED’s and how they make flashlight’s that cost over $200.
Let her open metal presentation box and try it out. She went through the modes and was impressed by the fit and finish as well as the knurling.
After my spiel, she said it was worth $26.95, then said I paid $5, I said damn you’re good!, just add .95 to that price.

Told her everyone in my family is pretty much getting one of these and a pair of noise cancelling headphones for Christmas

Later,
Keith

How long will this offer last?

Christmas in July
thanks to blind-eye.

Per Eva in customer service, “not sure, depends on the inventory and marketing strategy, may be weeks, may be stop in 10 days,”

I have the older version. Not sure exactly how long it holds NMM but its more than a few minutes… maybe an hour?
Doesn’t bother me but i’d prefer the 10 second memory if i had a choice. Great light either way

Thanks for posting this. I am think about grabing another one and swap the emitter to 219B 4000- 4500k. Love the rosy tone of old 348. So sad that they do not have it anymore.

Got my CWs today, not bad at all. The beam’s a bit fried-eggy, meaning the spill’s rather cool-blue, but the hotspot is quite neutral, even a smidge warm of neutral. Not a hint of green on either of them.

Can’t believe I’d ever hear myself saying it, but I think I like the “CW” better’n the NW.

Either one would probably be killer with a TIR lens vs reflector, though. Better color-mixing.

And a little more “testing” (if you could call it that) while I had ’em out…

Both reset to lowest after 6-chimpanzee off-then-on. Up to 5-chimpanzee it would go to the next mode, but at 6-chimpanzee it would reset to lowest.

I have both CW and NW and I can confirm this. The CW beam is less tint shift than NW.
The color is actually more consistent and brighter. Kinda weird, I thought only I experience this or mine CW was off.

Kinda want to swap the TIR lens from my Olight i3e to Ti3.

Thanks for sharing this. I was going to go with NW, but decided CW would be better based on your feedback. :+1: I’ve got 4 AAA flashlights already, but always good to have another backup. Also ordered a couple more as gifts. Do these come in the usual Thrunite thick cardboard box?

My only other Thrunite flashlight is the TH20. Really well made. Thrunite gives nice attention to detail with their products.

Better. The little Altoids tin, well, minus the hinge. Slip-on cardboard sleeve to keep the 2 halves from popping open, but yeah, the full tin, foamy thing to nestle the light itself, goodies-bag under, and papers over.

Class act all the way…

I use to play that game with the wife. Now I get, ’guess how much…………” out of my mouth and she throws up her hand and says “uninterested”.
