Currently, Sofirn is evaluating if this version is feasible in terms of profitability and feasibility as this light will not only need driver adjustments and another LED but also a whole different TIR lens. I gave them those three flux/chromatic bins for 2.000K/3.500K/4.500K that were reported to have great results. However, even if it turns out to be feasible there's still a chance they need to order a different bin from their suppliers. Please take it with a grain of salt, it's usually quite a challenge to source individual flux/chromatic bins. I hope to receive some more information what their management has decided and what bins of the E21A can be ordered.
Once confirmed, I will ask Barry what MPQ (minimum production quantity) is set for this light. For C01R it was around 250 pcs, so may lay guesstimate is that we should aim for at least 500 pcs in total (all tints accounted) to even think about a break-even for Sofirn. However, I might be wrong about this assumption.
Regardless of bin, my interest is still the same. In reality, I’ll probably get more than that regardless of bin, modes, or anything else. Just can’t get enough of high cri lights in a small package!
