It’s confirmed…The Lumintop BLF GT94 is coming soon for more wallop (and wallet!) than the GT4: 4 x SBT90.2 leds!
The average lux is around 1.65mcd !!
Sorry, no other technical information other than the leds at this time.

Not sure if I find this IMO outdated marketing style making use of a non-flashoholic/non-Search&Rescue looking lady a good development, but the flashlight looks like it will reach well over 1Mcd at 16Klumen, nice.

Hm, that’ S&R thing is a matter of personal opinion of course.

Is it even worth it over XHP70.2’s? I don’t think so, the XHP70.2’s give more lumen output with more efficiency. Sure the SBT90 is throw king but at what cost??

For me it is not. Giving in half the lumens to gain 3x the throw is maybe worth it, but the advantage of the 70.2 is that it can be had in neutral white, or, if you are able to swap leds, even warmer tints, or higher CRI. I will swap in 4000K 80 CRI which will reduce the output to probably 25,000 lumen but the improved tint will beat the lack of throw compared to the SBT90.2 by a margin.

There's been some talk of two very large multi-emitter 90.2 lights recently. This makes a third one. Who will be first? For three and a half years, I have been thinking that whatever supersedes the X65 (in both power and throw) will have to be the next huge thing. Finally, after a few years wait, here they come!

I was expecting this as the next iteration of Lumintop's GT series. An awesome light to impress your friends and make them envious. But in my experience it will most likely end up as a shelf queen catching dust.
Apart from the flashlight...fantastic advertising. I did not know where to look at first...the girl or the flashlight.
This kind of adverstising somehow reminds me of the D&W mail order catalogues for automotive tuning parts they used to have over here about 15 years ago.
Any chance of just selling the gt94 head for those that already have the gt4?

Good question, since the SBT90.2 is a 3V LED, where the XHP70 is a 6V or 12V
now the question is, will imalent, acebeam etc make a similar light now ?

They could, but perhaps at least a third more money.
I’m in for a head only if it’s possible. I already have the gt4 coming and I don’t want two giant lights, but an interchangeable head would be awesome.
