Lumintop BLF GT94 ( 4 x SBT90.2, 1.65mcd ) NOW AVAILABLE @ Neals: code NDGT94 gives $ 150 off

Wouldn’t the carriers need to be changed? Or is it going to be set up to be directly compatible with GT4?

Good question, since the SBT90.2 is a 3V LED, where the XHP70 is a 6V or 12V

now the question is, will imalent, acebeam etc make a similar light now ?

My question would be, will anyone actually buy one if Imalent or Acebeam is making a similar light, since these are well known and expensive brands?
Probably only people with too much money

They could, but perhaps at least a third more money.

I’m in for a head only if it’s possible. I already have the gt4 coming and I don’t want two giant lights, but an interchangeable head would be awesome.

…me too…

Well there is 4 of them. Wired in series it would be similar, no?

I’d guess that is how they done it, connections for 20A are easier and more reliable than connections for 80A :open_mouth:

I’m impressed by the simple, good looking and efficient design of the GT4 / GT94, beautiful beasts. Congratulations to people involved, honestly.
But the BLF GT is still my preferred, its tint is a mile better. Shame it as not been CRI 90/95 with maybe, a tad warmer tint.

Crazy performance and pushing the limits even for the size. but at this point I think it deserves a constant current driver so there can be flat regulation for lower modes.

Would the 90.2 make the host more thermally limited than with the 70.2 or about the same?

I assume they could use the same battery carrier if they wired the SBT90 LEDs in series instead of parallel.

Thanks for the Video. I think the GT94 looked the most impressive. But I’ve got the FF5 ordered, 1.2Mlux and 10k L and it’s much smaller. I have nothing against the big lights, I have the GT and a GT70. All of these lights are putting out unreal numbers.

Agreed, all - in 4S it’d be direct swap. And I’m sure someone else thought of that way before me

Time frame for the release of the GT94? Will there be a group buy?

I'm definitely interested --- even though I just received my GT4. :D

At some point this is all going to become just about novelty. I mean, how much light you can throw two miles down range becomes a moot point when most of us have to squint just to read a billboard half a mile down the road.

That, or i’m just getting old. :face_with_monocle: shrugs shoulders

Get a few and rent them out to local strip clubs like ~15 years ago (idk maybe some places still do this outside of big events):

Yes they will. Because Acebeam, Imalent and Lumentop are the three biggest innovators.

I will not be satisfied until we can light a large area 5 miles always as brightly as the sun 8) 8)

Have they changed the threads on all versions?
