I am starting to get more and more exciteder by the minute about this light. Will it have more power and significantly more throw than a certain 5 x XHP35 light that took the power thrower scene by storm three and a half years ago? The answer is probably yes.
Will it have more throw than a certain 18 x XHP35 light that came out a little over one year ago? The answer could be yes.
Will this light be ready to order before Ac~~~~m and Im~~~~t come out with their multi 90.2 lights? The answer could very will be yes.
The more the answer to these questions appears to be Yes, the more and more exciteder I am getting by the minute about this light; and for other good reasons, too. I can come up with a guesstimate about how many lumens, but the question is: How many meters throw?
Thank you. There is currently nothing like that has both 2569 meters throw and also the amount of lumens that it has, so I will be keeping an eye out for when the group buy is announced.
I bought the GT4 and am sticking with it, because I’m not too crazy about insane throw distances. And the GT4 already has enough for me. Plus I think XHP70.2s are more efficient than SBT90.2’s.
It’s changed. I have the FF5 and can confirm that the light is two mode (42w and 100w), starts on HIGH, and you can go back and forth between low and high without having to turn off and re-strike.
For me, it prevents me from having to buy an extra 8 batteries, as well as easier to travel with in a case. Having interchangeable heads is quick access to the best of both worlds.
I will not be able to purchase the GT94 until income tax return but can’t wait to see a video review to come out comparing it with the other GT models. What a great beam shot picture
