9 LEDs in the flood array that aren’t driven to absolute max just to achieve a ludicrous number in the specs, but at low current to achieve higher efficiency. very nice!

Interesting,
Can’t wait for a few reviews.
All the Best,
Jeff

Surely this is the first appearance of that type of small TIR. Looks like a smaller version of the TIR in the Acebeam l17/ E10 and Manker MC13. I’m interested to see how this TIR gets applied to single emitter lights in the future.

As for the X10 - I would guess it’s very effective light source for certain outdoor situations, emergency services…or nightime photography…

I look forward to seeing some reviews of ACEBEAM’s X10.

For those who like to have a first look at a prototype of the X10 (courtesy by Sven Stewitsch, German ACEBEAM dealer), there’s a great (German) review from oOFOXOo on TLF.

Why you don’t use TIR lens for center led also, similar to E10, with has insane beam characteristic?

Because reflector is still a better thrower and E10 TIR is only “insane” because of the LED. It wouldn’t be impressive with xhp35 and running a 3V LED in the mid is probably more complex to drive alongside 6 and 12V

I apologize for being a critic. X10 is very impressive flashlight

My point is 30mm reflector will out throw 35mm TIR. The new TIR is good cause it focuses the very small die osram not cause it is insane new tech.
