✌ FREEME - ASTROLUX MF05 SBT90.2 7000lm 3000m+ Thrower Searchlight - $390 (restocked) + Free Charger

“He has a light!!!”
“Ha nah that’s not a light, this is a light!!”

Freeme would it be possible to buy some reflectors? I would build a quad with 4 of these.

I just got mine, order #28 from the freeme Banggood group buy. Thank you, freeme, Astrolux and Bangood!

Now for the hard part: Waiting nine hours for the dawn of the flashlight day.

What was your order and shipped dates? Mine was ordered on Jul 9th and shipped out on Aug 4th but tracking info shows nothing since then.

The exact same thing happened with our MF05 as well. We got an update stating that it was preparing for shipment on August 8th, but no more updates after that.

My MF05 shipped on 12.08 and was 8 days later here in Germany. Tracking worked after five days and then it was real fast. China to Belgium to Germany.

Robert

Also no updates since the 7th for me (Processed Through Facility GUANGZHOU EMS, CHINA), hoping something pops up somewhere…

There was no updates on mine. Then I searched the tracking on my local post service it was at my local one.

Order submit: July 17, 2020.

Warehouse packed item: August 5, 2020.

Packaged sterilized and shipped out: August 6. Handed over to airlines: August 9. In and out of Customs in San Francisco: Aug 20 and 21.

Delivered to my door: August 24.

Also, please check to find the plastic lens protective cover and remove the plastic lens cover. There is a little tab that can be pulled to remove. There is no marking on it, so it took me a few moments to realize that it was there.

Please be sure to observe correct cell carrier polarity. Cells of like polarity are positioned adjacent, not opposite, as in some other battery carriers.

Tint on mine is not CW. Mine is definitely warm. I am not a tint issue person, but people who do not like CW should be pleased with the tint that came with my flashlight.

Seven more hours until flashlight time!

If i remember correctly, MF05 delivery date is actually faster than MF04. It was like over 2 months for second batch of MF04.

At a target 750 meters away, this light puts significantly more light on the target than the K75. It put a smile on my face. Reflector diameter is larger, and the deeper reflector is a plus, too. Add additional power supply and additional heat sinking and heat dissipation, etc, and now my K75 is a Mini version of the new led throw standard. Thanks again, to everyone who made this landmark light a reality!

Furthest ridge is around 1.6km this light will compete with the lemax LX70 superpower.

They need to bundle it with a pair of binoculars. Lol

No, that was what you needed to have bundled with the MF04, this one needs a telescope. I am certainly too old to take advantage of even further throw than the MF04. So far, if my old eyes can see it, I can get the MF04 beam on it. Four hundred dollars is 2.5 times what I just paid for the MF04. It looks to be a really good light, but 400 dollars? I am also likely to have the same issue with the MF05 as I have experienced with the MF04. I am having a really hard time mounting it to my AR-15, but I keep trying. It is also problematic putting an pocket clip on it. I can also verify the MF04 will not float on water, but I will not bore you with details.

$400 is pretty cheap compared to the Lemax LX70 Superpower at $3,600.

You could mount the AR onto the MF05

Well, either way, I finally remembered my southern roots, and realized the mounting is not really an issue. Everybody in the south knows, or should know, the answer is obviously duct tape. In the south we can fix anything with duct tape.

Question about the Fan

Mine only has 1 speed, namely after clicking 3 times.

1 click doesn't do anything

2 clicks doesn't do anything

is this normal? I think this is weird.. at first, I thought the screw/tailcap wasn't tightened fully, so damaged the anodization by using a iron tool to tighten the tailcap..

The manual doesn't say anything about the instructions of the fan, so I had no idea what was going on!

Warning: If you haven't received yours yet.. be careful with the Fan! It needs 3 clicks to activate and it's hard to tighten the cap with just your fingers

Mine is exact same as yours, except I was able to finger tighten the screw cap. No instructions in the manual, no indication of battery polarity, so I inserted the battery positive first, negative at the screw cap. One click does nothing, two clicks does nothing, three clicks turns the fan on, and then to turn the fan off requires one click-hold.

Edit: ThatCrazyFlashaholic 67 has the same results with triple click on. Also, four clicks to lock/unlock the fan.

See comparison.

Yes, it seems that it almost uses the same driver as the flashlight.. lol

4 clicks is actually battery check

5 clicks is lockout

6 clicks is eternal lockout... (not kidding)
