Its my least favorite part. It supposedely unscrews but I haven’t been able to break one free yet.
I know I can get it out but it would require shall we say “Unconventional methods”. :smiling_imp:
.
I had forgot about the new one. That be a option also.
Custom made by a British machinist, to my specs. You may not want to get them once you hear the price. And he may not want to do them again
Hand made by the way, not on CNC. Perfect precision and tolerances. The trits fit quite snuggly, they don’t swim around and need to be centred like commercial trit buttons.
Keep in mind that I will never actually be able to see both the Timasus pattern and the tritium colours at the same time, as it requires both natural an UV light at the same time to take these pictures, so it will be timascus with white vials in the light and glowing vials in the dark.
I do not agree with the use of tritium vials outside specially designed grooves, as I consider it unsafe. They are too fragile and the tritium is harmful if inhaled. Granted, in this case the recess at the back of the TC-R1 is probably protective enough, but still not as much as with the disks.
The vote is in and blue won by far. So, here you go...
