Interested. Wouldn’t 4 X 21700 make more sense? Hopefully it doesn’t have the fake FET.

Can you elaborate?

What FET are you referring to? And how can an FET be fake?

Very interested!

Probably, he was referring to the weak (?) Vishay SIR800 MOSFET that was used in some batches of HaikeLite's MT09R? This FET was reported to burn up in some samples of the MT09R when someone bypassed the springs. However, I bought exactly this MT09R and pentested it with Sony VTC6 and bypassed springs - and nothing went kaputt. Lexel has recommended using the Infineon OptiMOS 5 FET instead, if I recall correctly. Anyway, I would not be too worried at this early stage of this new flashlight.

In!

Please note that price could be over $200 even with group buy. SBT90.2 LED cost about $40/pc, so do your math.

What is this? If it is what I think it is, it seems like a big mistake. It looks like an appendage at the base, bye bye tail stand. I imagine that this appendix is to attach a hand strap. OMG, they couldn’t pick a worse place to put it.

I hope it is a rear like the one on the MT01, and allows tail stand.

Interested.

Price seems acceptable as I hate too bulky lights but still need to evaluate the specs!
