emisar D18 frosted or normal optics?

Hi,
Can anyone share experience or show some beamshots of the frosted vs non-frosted lens for the emisar D18? I am still of two minds about it.

Does the normal optics have enough flood, when walking in forest for example?

Thanks

I have a D18 with normal optics and it is VERY floody and is more than sufficient in lighting a trail path easily.

Emisar D18 beamshots while walking in a forest. YouTuber confirmed this Emisar D18 has default optics.

I have a D18 modified with W2 emitters and normal optics. How much throw does it have, at the expense of flood? 15,500 lumens and 748 meters throw.

Enough flood, to see wide, close in? For me, yes. For you: How much flood, how close in, how wide, do you like?

The widest, close in flood comes from a mule, no optics, no reflector.

I don't have any mules. My floodiest lights are P60 quad XP-L, Imalent MS03, Nitecore TM9K and E4K, and Lumintop FW21pro.

Hi power, floody lights are easy. The question is how large or small of a flashlight do you want.

That is one twentieth of the minds I have about it. Forty high performance lights later, there are six more lights on my front burner want list.

Nice, Emisar D18 with Osram W2? Do you have any beamshots?

Thank you for explaining. I already have a mule - ZL H604c, so I’m not looking for another super floody flashlight. I was just curious if it’s sufficiently floody for walking at night on a forest path.

So your comment was very helpful!
