same here. I tried buying a couple lights from China :open_mouth: , then changed it to just stuff from the US. Either way no luck. I may try back next weekend.

Everytime ebay does this is only for USA or america accounts. Too bad for me.
Thats way I stopped purchasing on ebay.

Now… Aliexpress only and without paypal as payment method.yeah!

I two accounts. I tried both, neither was eligible. I was trying to buy USA stuff from USA accounts. It just doesn’t work for me.

Thanks for the heads up. I hadn’t logged in to ebay for a while, but when I did and checked my messages it said they were rewarding long term customers and gave me the same code (which worked). Not sure how they define long term customers, but they said I set up my login in 1999.

I registered my first account in 2006, and that does not qualify.
So the cutoff is somewhere between 1999 and 2006.
Anyone can check when they registered by clicking their name from the dropdown and looking at your profile page. It will say “Member since:”

I have been an eBay member since Feb 2000 and it worked for me.

I signed up dec. 2003 but all I got was a message for celebrating 25 years of ebay. :frowning:

I’ve been aber since 2001 and the code didn’t work. I got a message saying something about 25 years, but no code in there.

Yea, I got the message but no coupon too.

So the cutoff is somewhere between 1999 and 2001.

If I had to guess, I would say the cutoff is in the year 2000, either on January1, or on their birthday. Whatever day that is.
