You can just put it on from the outside. Works with every flat TIR or glass.
The T1 is relatively easy to open, there is some threadlock but not the hard stuff, I used pliers+rubber but considering how easy it came it would probably have come by hand. So you can put the diffuser inside if you want.

My SP40’s bezel unscrewed without much effort. It had no glue.
I just received a nice envelope from Boaz with a bunch of sample pieces of the various offerings. I’m hoping to run through and measure the effect each one has on lumens and intensity.
My interest was piqued a little bit back to help fix some Cree rainbows like on the Sofirn SP33 V3 with the XHP50.2. The original DC-Fix did wonders! I can’t wait to see how these others compare.

Actually, I am not a big fan of lens filters. The minus green was for the E14III and I’ve decided to swap out emitters to XPL HI 5000k

I’ve got my envelope in Europe after almost a month being squeezed, thrown and played with between numerous operators and everything was in perfect condition.
That’s the risk we all accepted when being sent in an envelope.
Firstly, I know more about astrophysics than I know about Lee filters. So basically, zero.
I do know Boaz though. Not from just buying DCFix. We have had some great conversations about many different topics. He is one of the kindest men I know. I am certain that he will help you take care of your situation. He has a few life things going on right now, no more or less than the rest of us but, I feel he will make it right with you as soon as he can.
If for some crazy reason he doesn’t. I will send you the $10. Honestly and sincerely, that’s how much faith I have in Boaz.

I’ve also had only positive interactions with Boaz. I bought sheets twice: first he sent an envelope to Argentina. Due to COVID19 it got shipped back to him, he then sent it again free of charge and even let me swap out a minus green film for a Zircon filter. The second time I bought sheets from him shipped to USA he shipped it quickly and it arrived very fast. Both envelopes arrived in good shape, sheets are in good condition.
I think if people wouldn’t be happy with Boaz’s offerings, this thread wouldn’t be open since 2015 already.

I sent Kona G another Zircon filter to replace the one he said was scratched .and will send him some more diffuser film even though he messed up the total and paid a smaller amount than he was supposed to send in the first place . (It happens ...so I shrugged it off ) . Almost always send some free samples in every order . I did the first time I shipped and did it again when I resent a second replacement Zircon filter sheet and more diffuser film to him . Always use gloves when cutting and handling filters and each sheet is separated with tissue paper just like it comes from the factory.
I'm not a Chinese vendor who wants 40 color 8x10 glossy pictures with diagrams and descriptions on the back to prove if someone has a problem . I don't require a video or proof . and in almost all cases I ship to members here on the forum without even going to check in paypal to see if they've sent money . I trust the members here and if they say they have a problem I believe them . But let me suggest that a more calm and reasonable P.M. will get my attention quicker than just venting to make yourself feel better .

^ all pics taken with my iphone, so i have no idea how that effects the look. But i think there is a clear, improved visual effect between the “before & after” pics, IMO. I will be buying more for incoming lights. lso going to try on my Osram emitters just to see what the difference is.
And, regarding the shot between the X9L and FT03 xhp 50 -
the reason why this excites me is - that now when i look for lights that have xhp50 or sst40, i actually seek out the 6000-6500k. Knowing i will most likely dedome them, and then add a (-)green filter, i can get a desire able looking “color” with the (usually) more readily available higher cct (?) emitters. Basically, now i don’t have to wait/hope for the manufacturer to release the 5700k or 5000k version of the torch. Really it just gives me more options. and that is awesome. Thanks Boaz!
