Yes that correct; I know that DBSAR has posted in other threads but I was only concerned about postings in this one

This has probably been discussed multiple times, but would it make any sense to have red emitters? So ramp from red to white.

I apologize if this has already been discussed, but I just watched the video and it looks like the top, lantern portion either is or easily could be threaded on to the flashlight portion, such that it could be easily removed. And the remainder of the flashlight still has an optic and everything so that it could be used like a normal flashlight with the lantern portion removed. If possible, that dual functionality would certainly make it a more appealing option for backpacking purposes. And I think it’d also be a great selling point for those who might not see themselves using a dedicated lantern that often but would appreciate getting a solid light that also offers lantern functionality should it be needed. Everything could still be optimized for lantern purposes while leaving a solid flashlight, right? Is that or could it be part of the plan?
To take that idea a step further, maybe the stability plate for the bottom could have a slightly raised area to center the light that the lantern portion could also screw into, so they could be easily stored together when the light is being used as a flashlight. It looks like the lantern portion goes around, rather than inside the bezel, so the inner diameter of the raised area could match the diameter of the bottom of the flashlight, while the outer matches the bezel and has a couple threads for the lantern. But it could potentially also work with the inside being threaded if the lantern portion attaches inside the bezel. This would also help prevent any gunk from getting into the lantern portion while it is removed.
I came here to suggest this, I would appreciate a lamp that can do both, flashlight and lantern, especially since the original IF25 doesn’t have Anduril and I’m sure that some people would be interested In a Anduril flashlight with tint ramping, personnaly I modded one with LH351D, it’s quite nice but would be even better with Anduril.
@ thefreeman, that would be nice. A light that has it all. Lantern and a light in one.

Use Zanflare T1 red a lot at bedtime
Madtoffel: DBSAR:The Zanflare or CL25 are still to “fat” to be really a backpacker or pocket size lantern. The LT1 Mini will come with a wide removable base, (either plastic cap-type or metal magnetic cap, or a folding base stand.
It would be great if the LT1M would have a folding stand (in addition to the base magnet) that folds around the battery barrel and opens like an umbrella. This constuction could look somewhat like the landing legs of the spaceX rockets.
That idea has been an option to test for a base style. :+1:
Maybe you can reuse the mechanic from an umbrella?

Oops, I think I was in the interest list on the first thread and forgot to ask here!
In for one please!

I'm nothing like an engineer or designer, but thanks for thinking of me.
interested, price dependent.

I’m interested in one.
I’ll also add another vote for red LED (s). For those who are unaware, blue lights can suppress melatonin production, potentially affecting sleep. I enjoy switching to red lights at night time, before bed.

Based on your avatar you are the expert everything concerning umbrellas. :innocent:
