I have to upgrade the driver on some cheap zoom lights.
Anyone know where to find better one without the orrible visible pwm and strobe mode?

Often stock drivers on cheap lights are only 2 modes with pwm+disco strobe…and start always on high :confounded:
Yes we really need a simple “blf” 15mm aa/14500 driver.
Mountain electronics used to sell 15mm fet drivers but they are perpetually out of stock. Your best bet is Lexel on here or resizing a 17mm to fit into a 15mm pocket.
It’s a shame there’s nothing boost driver from 15mm that start on firefly mode (important for close work).
What I do now with my AA hosts like SK68?
I forgot you can get a driver kit from mountain for a 15mm fet driver with a lot of configurable mode groups that includes moonlight. Driver kits
It’s 14500 18650 only though.

Richard has those 15mm fet drivers in stock now. I ordered one a month or so ago and received it (not yet installed though).

If you message Lumintop on aliexpress they might sell you a Tool AA driver (a hair small but has tabs…may work depending on your mount style or with a mod. My plan for that MTN 15mm fet is to reduce the edges slightly to make it sit in the pill correctly).
The most promising was convoy boost drivers but they are way too large for most AA hosts 
Unless I’m mistaken the kaidomain driver linked above UI is Hi / Lo / Str just like the drivers we seek to replace. Does this have faster PWM?
The Lumintop drivers are l/m/h with memory mode or M/L/H and neither are ideal but they are better than nothing. I mounted Tool AAA driver into SK68 with a brass washer.

Can they sell them separately and what is the minimum of Lumens and pwm frequency?
Maybe AA tool or lumintop EDC drivers can fit without adapters but don’t know real size.
It is really strange that hardly anyone is interested and we have no other choice than go cheap for AA zoom lights
Eagtac has a driver for D3A TI I for sale, but no info about its diameter.
Good driver for AA/14500 with 15mm diameter is inside Jetbeam Jet 1Mk, maybe you should try to contact Jetbeam?
i put my mnt 15mm driver in this light Enogear Copper Cube Teardown & Mods ….now i need two for my two tool aa :person_facepalming:
