The emitters XHP50.2 and XHP70.2 have their own consumer. Who does not like them there are many lanterns with a different emitter.

That’s true. I only don’t like XHP50.2 and 70.2 but i like XHP50 and 70 cause they don’t have yellow goo around emitter. In fact i have XHP70 4500K 90CRI installed in M21C. Just beautifull.

Finally black S21A! I’ve waited a long time for this. Can you measure the inner diameter of the battery tube? I am also interested in the thickness of the walls.

The same as in S21A, S12…

It means? There is no information in the descriptions. I am asking because I remember that the first batch of S21A had too narrow tubes and did not fit all 21700 cells.

All of my 21700 Convoy's are using Molicel P42 and Samsung 40T without problems and since there is enough room there could used even bigger cells

Same here, that’s what I’m waiting for. I’m also getting a few of the Osram red driver.

Currently using the 8*7135 on the red and it starts out at 230 lumens, drops to 60% within 15 minutes and runs for a further 60min. Since the forward voltage is 2.5v it should run much better with this new driver.

That makes three of us!

The maximum output for the LH351D version probably will be a bit less than the Wukkos FC11 (FET driver), rated as 1300lm, but not very different. SST40 gets about 1600lm. Let’s say the LH351D output should be about 75% of the SST40 version output.

Edit: precise lumen measurements would require a well calibrated integrating sphere.

It’s actually nice that Convoy use their own simple UI, not many of my customers like Anduril and very difficult to sell.

Anduril v2 is another story, once it’s out of its testing phase

I forgot to take a photo last time, the samples are now at the manufacturer. But production has already begun. Its appearance is similar to 4X18A, with corresponding changes.

A 1/4”–20 thread would be a good addition to these lights for tripod mounting (like in the Q8).

The inner diameter is now 22mm
the thickness of the walls is 2.3mm

I am looking for a work light with decent color rendering, do you plan to sell any high CRI, COB LED based, portable lantern someday ?

CREE has many types of COB LEDs, I think it is not difficult to design this, it does not even need a reflector.

There are many other COB manufacturers that are just as good but cheaper, such as Samsung and Citizen. There are super cheap Getian Opto-Electronics, but less efficient ones. I made a lamp on Citizen CLU048-1212 80CRI 3500k Verison 6 I really liked the light.
