Astrolux EC03 - 6700 Lumens - Test The Temperature - Best Value 2020

Astrolux EC03 is an amazing flashlight. With the use of 3 LEDs XHP 50.2 very impressive brightness up to 6700 lumens. The lamp’s heat dissipation ability is also very impressive. What do you like the Astrolux EC03 the most. Please leave a comment

Thank you for your thermal review. I ordered one of these as soon as it was announced. I bought two more, for a total of three, because the price is very low for the quality and also because of the beam profile and beam performance per size and and weight. Astrolux came up with a winning combination with 3 x 50.2 and single 21700 and smooth reflectors in a medium size diameter head and stainless bezel and high quality and low cost. Ample power for size from 3x 50.2, and also ample throw from reflector wells that are not too small and not too shallow and not too overlapped. Also, the throw and lumen specs are not overstated. To my experienced eyes, compared with more than a few other small-medium flashlights, the throw and lumen specs are understated. If I were the King of the flashlight world, I would decree that everyone should have an EC03.

How did you config the temperature? Anduril does not usualy reach that temperature

Amazing light indeed.
Did a quick spring bypass with copper braid and i gained a couple thousand more lumens - just in case… :smiling_imp:

Will probably be 10000 lumens like
Lumintop fw21 pro 3x xhp50.2

Do you have any pictures to share please? When I press on the spring in EC03 it feels like it clicks and it looks like there is PCB? behind the spring?
