✌ FREEME - Haikelite HK90 3*Luminus SBT90.2 High Lumens 3*21700 Flashlight - ALIVE

Interested. Please send me the code too.

Even 750kcd seem excessive considering the size of each of the three reflectors if you take other lights like the Lumintop X9L as a reference.
The msrp is too high and quite frankly the group buy price is not as expected.

My main area of continued interest is the throw specification. I am happy with the amount of lumens that this light probably puts forth, because it is assuredly significantly more than X65, mini or original version. The question is: Real throw spec versus X65 real throw spec?

Head diameter, weight, UI, fuel supply, etc: All groovy for me.

Someone else posted 1732 meters throw. Hmmm. 1732 is George Washington's birth year. (hence 1932 is the first year of the Washington quarter, to commemorate the 200 anniversary of his birth)

And 1.732 is the square root of three, and it is also twice the sine of 60 degrees. And it may possibly be kind of sort of 20% more than what I think this lights' throw spec really is.

X65 Mini (and original) is 11,000 and 1,600 real specs.

Lumens: If this is kind of like sorta in a way 1500 lumens, then I will view this light as X65 but with significantly more lumens and also, as yet undetermined to what degree, similar throw.

I'll take one for starters. PM sent to freeme.

I like math, history, numismatics, and arts, sciences and humanities, too.

I am interesed!

Got it, thanks.
I was hopping for a more affordable price, but i understand this is serious stuff here.
I’ll certainly wait and see what the early adopters report.

Interested depending on the price. Could I get the coupon?

It should be lower.

I’m actually a collector of Haikelite lights, well at least 3, the HK04, MT09R, and SC04. While the HK04 and MT09R are well-constructed and robust, the SC04 is especially dissapointing because the UI doesn’t work right at all - too slow to ramp up and then instantly at turbo. Not to mention the flower-petal beam was ugly even w/ SST20 4000ks. I’ll wait and see some reviews about this light, because the price point is so up there, also having recently bought a GT4, and thinking of buying the FF5.

Pre-ordered, code applied successfully. 3rd pre order. Expected ship Sept 8 -> 18. Shipping time: 10 ->15 business days. Ship from China, air parcel.

It should be lower.

Also the price

Regards Xandre

I afraid there is no margin for further discount from what HKL is offering ...

HKL could have used this opportunity to regain brand confidence and supporters.

Interested.

I’ll be surprised if the numbers are anywhere near what they are claiming and the price! Can’t wait to see the actual numbers when the light is tested.

I am interested.

Hello,
have I missed the post, or is the price still not yet fixed for this groupbuy.

Will this HK90 be shipped directly form Haikelite or from another sender e.g. Neal?

Interested in one colour sand.
Thanks.

Hah Richie086, glad to see you here!

I don't understand the above critiques on the throw. Let me explain:

  • a 100 mm head light easily did 700+ kcd on old dedomed XP-G2's (my BOSS1 as a good example)
  • triples in the same overall dimensions usually do slightly less than a single
  • SBT90.2's driven well should easily out perform old dedomed XP-G2's
  • so 750 kcd real world from a triple SBT90.2 driven well with overall 100 mm head diam should be quite do-able, suspect 800 kcd or so if it were a single SBT90.2

freeme -

  • is the UI a total unknown at this point?
  • I would suggest fixing the OP specs: 750 kcd, 1732 meters -- this would match Neal's listing

I had some Emails to Martin (M4DM4X). He told me, that Neal has Anduril on the HK90.
I had also private messages to Toykeeper. She told me, that she never had worked with Haikelite for HK90. Hope I´m allowed to post this here.
So I´m not sure, what UI HK90 has. I hope HK90 has anduril, maybe “only” a ramping UI…

Plop and drop of anduril ui is pretty common
