Is this adapter suitable for S21B? It would be nice to have a 5A 12groups driver with a LH351D 4000K in S21B host. I guess you don’t have a 20mm temperature controled driver with lower current.

Also, he mentioned something about Crescendo driver in another thread.
I don’t have any firsthand experience with Crescendo but I heard that it’s pretty good for tail clicky switch.
Is there a real chance that it’ll be available for S21B? Of course Mr. Simon himself is the one to answer this question.

i test L21A with KW CULPM1.TG and 8A driver today .
The illuminance value at 5 meters is 14190LUX, and the range is about 1190 meters.
Darn. My S21B shipped before I found I could get it in grey. Doh!

Throw distance should be high but what is it? 1190 meters like the 8A one above?

No, that’s with it installed in the much larger L21A. You need a good size reflector to get that distance

It’s an option within the S21B item with KW CULPM1.TG LED.
Total lumen for the Boost HX 2mm^2 (or KW CULPM1.TG) in the bin that Simon has (8RF) should make 1700-1900 emitter lumen at 6A.
Considering bit of loss in the lens and the driver being slightly less than 6A, the OTF lumen might be a bit less.

That’s about 354 kCd, i think it can be driven harder.
I will test my L21a with Led4power 2mm and a 7,2 A driver to check the results
With the 2mm 3030 at 6.7A i got 1200m but this new led should be better.

Wish M.1 Leds had warmer tint options like 4000k-5700k, and that L21A had usb charger. I anyway consider to buy a L21A with KW CULPM1.TG if it becomes ready for sale, because it seems to be much cheaper than FT03S.

Been ordering S21B with W2.1 and am thinking reading driver specs why the temperature limit wouldn't be set to 60-65deg instead of conservative 55?
