2020 NBA Finals

I saw the Lakers games 3, 4, and 5 (in Round 1.)

Games 3 and 5 were frequently close, and the Lakers won games 2 through 5.

I just hope they do as well in Round 2.

(Games 3 and 5 were the most entertaining of the series, for me.)

well, i’m out.
the playoffs were off,
then on, then off, then on.
i’m too dizzy to focus, now.

Not in the 2019-2020 Post-Season.

Are you even paying attention to the NBA Season/Playoffs?

After getting spanked in Game 1 of Round 2, the Lakers evened up the series with an entertaining win in Game 2.

(I'm really enjoying these Playoffs.)

I didn't see it, but the Clippers lost in Game 7 to the Nuggets.

(I really thought the Clippers would win the series.)

So it's going to be the Lakers and Nuggets in the West, and the Heat and Celtics in the East.

I'm still rooting for the Lakers, but I hear the Celtics in the East are very good as well.

ECF: MIA vs BOS 1 - 0
WCF: LAL vs DEN

My #2020NBAFINALS bubble version will be the classic, LAL vs BOS (can I get amen? )

Pulling for the Nuggets, Heat and Celtics. Anyone but Lebron.

I just saw Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals.

The Lakers won, and they're going to the NBA Finals!

The East still has to be decided, but I'm happy for my team in this moment.

LAKERS vs MIAMI HEAT

Congrats to LeBron James. He joins a mediocre team (last 10 yrs without playoffs participation) and all of a sudden the Lakers are back in the playoffs and now in the finals. Just crazy. Playing against his former team which he led to four consecutive finals. I don't recognize any name from the current Miami rooster except for Iguadola.

I wish LeBron to win the title.

I grew up in Los Angeles from the mid-60s and was going to Lakers’ games when Wilt, Jerry, Elgin and Gail were playing, so I’m a huge Lakers’ fan, but I’ve lived in Miami for 35+ years and so I’m also a Heat fan.

Either way, I win, but I’m pulling for Miami!

Go HEAT!

Chris

Game 1 was quite interesting.

I don't think that the subsequent games will be as easy for the Lakers.

my Physical Therapy’s waiting room monitor
had ESPN’s Get Up on this morning.
lots of NBA lots of politics,
but Silver says today……
“And I understand those people who are saying
‘I’m on your side, but I want to watch a basketball game.’”

Yep, that commie/BLM crap is ending. LeBron can piss up a rope.

Good, I say.

Chris

Game 4 was excellent.

It was close most of the game, and the Lakers won.

They're up 3-1, and it's looking pretty good for them right now.

...and the Lakers won it all this year!

Game 6 wasn't very close, so the game was kinda boring, but at least the Lakers won the NBA Finals.

This is the first time I have seen so many Playoff games.

I watched every Lakers Playoff game this year, and it was quite entertaining overall.

Congrats to LeBron & his team!

Yes, congrats to Lebron and his Lakers, in memoriam the black mamba RIP.

What's boring is that both teams concede to the Heat's defeat in the 4th quarter, let the 2nd team roster play it out, without giving it all. I just saw the 14min highlights and it seemed to me that both teams stopped fighting. gave up fighting in the 4th quarter. If the Lakers ease up on aggressiveness, then fine. But then the Heat should have fought harder, to the very last second, for a miracle turnaround. A high profile match should be competitve to the very end.

Imo.

I thought they canceled the NBA season. There was a finals already?

The NBA season only got delayed.

Both the NBA and NHL finished up their seasons and post-seasons.

What's amazing is that they were both in "bubbles" and were tested for COVID-19 repeatedly.

There wasn't a single positive COVID-19 test for the NBA or NHL.

It's amazing what we can do when we listen to health experts and come up with a sophisticated and intelligent plan.

Feels good to win a titles after 10 years as a long time Lakers fan who grew up idolizing Kobe. The fact that they could claim a title the same year after Kobe’s passing makes it all the more sweeter.

I originally couldn’t stand Lebron when he left the Cavs and won several titles with the Heat, but I grew to respect him after he came back to the Cavs to win a title for his hometown. Now I adore him as well, after winning a title for the Lakers.

The Lakers played a great game and were in control for its entirety, so good for them.

The Heat showed some moxie and will be better for doing so, next year.
