I find it hard to believe it’s making 164kcd.

Even V54 only claims his mod to be 140kcd, and his values always seem like a bit optimistic (turn on) values.

If it is I’ll buy one and eat my words, but that’s gotta be a magical reflector that all others must copy.

Translation of the first comment:

Cesconetto: I would like to know if anyone already has or saw a review of this Lumintop with Osram to share more details.

If you’re just catching up, the original GT micro has an XP-L and throws about 500m. This one has an Osram W1 (I think) and supposedly throws 809m. Vinh’s modded GT micro has a W2.1 and throws 693m.

V54 version uses w2.1. Neals version uses w1.1.

Neals version uses the CSLNM1.TG which is the W1. CULNM1.TG is W1.1. There’s no way this light can throw anywhere 809m. But it will still be the best thrower for its size.

Vinh tested with the W1 and only saw 140kcd”:https://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?456965-BLF-GTvn-Micro&p=5294231&viewfull=1#post5294231

I have 2 of them…1 aluminum, 1 brass. I have no way of measuring, but it has amazing throw from such a small light. It seems to throw almost as far as my Astrolux FT03 SST40-W which claims 875 meters, albeit at lower lumens. I actually like the aluminum on best because the brass is very heavy for it’s size. The aluminum one, I can actually put in my shirt pocket. I also have the non-osram led model, but the osram version throws much further.
