✌ FREEME - ASTROLUX FT03 Mini XHP50.2 (4200lm) / SST40 Anduril AUX LEDs USB-C 18650 Flashlight - ALIVE

I assume it is accurate. But I always test one led. This was a sample that came directly from Osram (via TheOnlyDocc) but I see no reason why it would be any different from the ones that are in these flashlights.

What are the numbers for orange, throw (kcd, meters) and output (lm)?

To avoid confusion in model specs for new buyers,

we have created another FT03 mini NM.1 thread for further discussion.

Interested. Could I get the coupon?

What kind of battery are people using here? On Banggood there is the option to buy with a Samsung 30Q (button top) included, so I guess a 30Q would work well. However, if I look at NKON, the Sony / Murata US18650VTC6 3000mAh - 30A has more and better reviews, and has a 30A rating instead of 15A. Would this Sony indeed be a good option for the FT03 mini? And if so, would it make a difference whether I choose a button top or flat top model?

Oh, and what 18350 batteries are people using? On Banggood it only reads that it needs to be an unprotected one:

Samsung 30q and Sony vtc6 are actually both rated at 15 amp continuous. So they are pretty much equivalent to each other. No real difference there.

The driver uses a button instead of a spring on it so I’m guessing you would need a battery with a button top. Maybe an owner can comment on whether a flat top cell will work or not.

Thanks. I will go for a button top 18650 then. This is in line with one of the links on 1thedeals ,which brings you to a button top 18650 battery.

Interestingly enough, one of the other links on 1thedeals directs to a flat top 18350 battery.

FT03-Mini does have a “button” for positive side, but based on my test, LG HG2, Sony VTC6 or even the recessed flat-top Samsung 30Q works properly (BG does have an option where they bundle the FT03-Mini with a regular flat-top Samsung 30Q).

I tried bumping the flashlight too with a flat-top Samsung 30Q inside, and the light did not “stutter” (no disconnection from bumping), so the tailspring does it job well.

Could I have a coupon please freeme.

Sure.

That blue color is looking real sleek!

coupon still available for XHP50.2 (4200lm) in green?

Could I please have a coupon @freeme??

Ordered a red one.

Thank you.

Got my greenie. Guess I didn't read the fine print - didn't realize it's a UI all their own, not Anduril, no AUX LED's around the LED.

I measured 4.2 tail amps on a 35E at 4.06V, but on a VTC5D, measured 5.2 tail amps. So, what does this tell us? Is it a FET with limited amps or just poor regulation?

Don't think it's a problem for the green - think it can take higher amps than the white or red?

Would also like to know if the green does take higher amps than the white and red (as mentioned in another thread, the red didn’t seem to have visible brightness difference when on High or on Turbo mode), whereas the white one will turn a bit bluish on Turbo. The green looks a wee bit brighter from High going to Turbo, again as per the sample I got of the FT03-Mini Osram (white/green/red)

Do you maybe know if any code is available for:
