I’m interested in one of the proposed lights, just to try it out.
For me, charging from a USB-C source and charging with the control ring in the off position are essential requirements. I think having to remember to tour the light on after you plug it in or only being able to use some power supplies for charging is not muggle-friendly.
If it’s well executed I would probably buy a few more to give away.
I hope not, but I’m not sure what the status is now. I should contact Barry about this, but on the other hand Sofirn could show some initiative too, since they already had plans for making it (but I’m sure the pandemic changed a few plans here and there). I will ask Barry.
Interested in 2 (at least) if these lights go into production. I love my Anduril hot rods, but I hate that I can’t hand them off to loved ones that need a light.
When I feel some dedication I will update the list in the OP, I’m maybe fifty or so behind. But mind that the project is on hold as long as Sofirn does not pick it up again since communication about the grandma light stopped in January.
If they would just add one or two lower modes to some of their diving lights I feel like it would open it to a wider market and not just for diving purposes.
