Emisar D3AA is available now

I posted that, but the information was wrong, so I edited that post.

Once Hank received them, it turned out that they were actually SST-20-DR-B120-V660 Flux:X Voltage:V6 Color:D5. D5 is the 660nm-665nm chromaticity bin.

That’s still a higher peak wavelength bin than C01R XP-E2 Photo Red with P3 bin, which is the 655nm-660nm chromaticity bin.

That’s fine, Hank. I don’t actually need it. Not a big deal at all.

I’ll just take the 18350 tube. Easier to find good batteries for it anyway.

Just ordered a green K1 with the XHP35HI 4000K.
Should look good next to my dark gray K1 with the W1 (Osram CSLNM1.TG), 6000K, and my black K1 with XP-L HI V2 5D

I would definitely buy one!

And a green D48 E21a
Day one purchase.

I’ve been resisting the urge to get a K1 with XHP35HI but think the green version may have given me the final push :person_facepalming:

Look forward to seeing your comparisons :+1:

Did I read somewhere that Hank was getting LH351D 5000k 90CRI? I don’t see it as an option for anything. Would definitely pick up a 4th KR4 with that if the bin is nice. 4000k would be even better. I really like the Samsung LED in a nice tint bin.

From intl-outdoor.com :

W1 (Osram CSLNM1.TG): 900lm, Lux : 650Kcd (650,000cd)
W2 (Osram CSLPM1.TG): 1400lm, Lux: 550Kcd (550,000cd)
XHP35 HI 6500K/5000K: 2000lm, Lux: 290Kcd (290,000cd)
XHP35 HI 4000K/3000K: 1800lm, Lux: 270Kcd (270,000cd)
SBT90.2 LED, 5700K, 4500lm, Lux: 420Kcd (420,000cd)

And from people more knowledgeable than me on BLF, it seems Hank’s #’s are to be trusted.

Has anyone measured the CRI of Hank’s 2000k? Just curious if it’s R9080 like Clemence’s batch was.

The intl-outdoor website indicates 2000K is with R9050 for E21A. I don’t remember if anybody has done the actual measurement. If I find it, I will report back.

I have got a question related to E21A, too. I have KR4 with E21A/5000K. Does somebody have a picture of the driver for KR4 with E21A? I understand that the driver is the one with 5A max, unique to this LED. I would like to see how it looks like.

Thanks.

package label for the 2000K and 2700K version.

Yes, just added this option for K1 and KR1.

I think the limitation of 5A it comes from the Anduril special firmware (no fet) and not from the driver.

Maukka did it for Clemence/Virence’s E21A batches.
At lower currents up to 700mA Clemence’s 2000K batch is R9080

When will we start seeing Anduril 2 on these? Not in a hurry or anything, but figured I wait until the 2 comes out and not spend extra on reflashing kit.

Anduril 2 is not even finished yet. I don’t think manufacturers will switch for an already released model. Maybe a future flashlight, next year or so.

Thanks. I’ll wait until next year then. Like I said, not in a hurry - I haven’t bought a flashlight in the past 25 years, LOL. Only headlamps.

I think you owe it to yourself to grab an edc then, may I recommend the KR4?

Does anyone have a picture of this beam they can share? even if it is the new Manker light? I cannot find it online and i am interested in this version of the KR1.

I’m a minimalist, and don’t even EDC my wallet and car key (and haven’t used my house key in the 10 years I’ve owned my house). I like the look of the D4V2, mainly for the emitter choices (2700K SST20 and 2700K E21A) and that it’s a quad. If I get a flashlight, I would put it on my head like this guy below. I don’t understand flashlights that are not headlamps. Why wouldn’t you want your hands free? I also don’t understand tail switches. Seems like you have to use other hand to operate switch, do gymnastic finger movement, or hold the light like a police officer.
