All due respect, but it looks like a solution to a non-problem
I think Iāve experimented with reflection behind my LT1 and havenāt noticed a big difference in the illumination in the area where the reflected light would go. Whatās your experience with this device? Too bad he didnāt do a better job applying the reflective tape.
The tape doesnāt bother me at all and doesnāt noticeably change anything, but i can always change it out if needed at some point.
I use my LT1 a lot for night time reading and from what I can see, it allows me to use a lower output than normal, and prevents āwasted light.ā
Honestly (and itās still daytime here so I havenāt been able to thoroughly test), it seems way more efficient to use, if I donāt need 360 degree light.
I like the idea, do you mind asking how much it cost?
I bought a āblemishedā version for $5 + shipping, so maybe $15 all in.
He is selling black for $25 shipped and glow-in-the-dark for $30 shipped.
Looks like a good way to walk around using the LT1 as an area light as well. Anyone that has ever watched a movie where they hold a 360 degree lantern up to see better should understand the fallacy of this, it puts as much light back in your face as you are getting from elevating the lightā¦ :person_facepalming:

Just happened to be buying 2 LT1s for someone else and noticed the orange. Site let me order but quickly got an update from Sofirn that thereās no stock. The person answering messages didnāt know when colored lanterns would again be available.

I was using my lantern in my RV this past weekend and noticed something new that I canāt seem to find any reference to. My switch LED was flashing slowly in an orange color. What does this mean?
You can set the indicator lights to high, low, flashing, or off. Seven clicks to change mode while not locked out, three clicks while locked out.
