Brother vs. Brother on HGTV
there were two ~100 year old houses in San Francisco
listed for ~$2.5 MILLION each and the two brothers
were spending $1 MILLION to renovate both houses
in a competition to see which would appraise higher.
i may not have exact information since it was hard
to hear over the machines at PT, regardless, i am
so glad i do not pay for this type of TV at home.
also, i am glad we do not live anywhere near SF.
we have visited several times, and it is nice, but
not THAT nice.

I saw the season premiere of South Park.
It was mostly about COVID-19.
The episode was pretty uneven, and you have to be a fan of South Park's brand of immature humor to enjoy it.
I thought it was very entertaining in some parts, and I want to see more sitcoms do COVID-19 based comedy.
Alaska Off-Road Warriors on the History (?) Channel.
changed up my Physical Therapy routine and times.
coming along great, and the machines face the wall monitor.
essentially, it looked like a car race without roads.
back when we had cable, it seemed that THC
had much more history in their show selections.
my opinion: this show should be “history”.
Kinda like when MTV actually aired M.

Lovecraft Country
Started great, Getting hokey.
NFL games at my mother’s nursing home.
they have a nice set-up with satellite Red Zone.
anyway, the games keep switching depending upon
which one is more likely to provide more action.
have to give them this: it was interesting.
however, i would never Pay to watch it.
as always, Mom fell asleep.
NFL: Naptime For Ladies.

Both, I think.
Lexx is kind of like a funkier Farscape. If you can believe that!

NorthernHarrier:
In any event, the series is an interesting look at mind control and the way very intelligent people with self-esteem issues can be as susceptible to deception as others, and just as capable of joining others in acting badly, while believing they are working to achieve idealistic goals and self-improvement.
Seems very prescient for these times, doesn’t it?

+1 recommend the Newsroom. I kept skipping it when it actually aired thinking it was some regular news program until I actually caught an episode in season 3 or something (which was the last season), so I had to backtrack.
I tell all my friends about it, they always say “hmm I dunno I hate news…”, then watch 1 or two episodes and get hooked…

I loved Dexter, except for the last two seasons which weren't so great.
I'd like to see another show about a serial killer that primarily kills other serial killers.
I don't care if it's obviously a Dexter clone as long as the show is fairly good.
That's how great I think the show is:
I will gladly take an imitation.
Or, how about Dexter: Pacific Northwest?
Showtime is bringing back Dexter!
The show ended in 2013, but is scheduled to return in Fall of 2021.
I hope it's not crappy like the last two seasons, but I'll watch it either way.

Just watched “Challenger - The Final Flight” mini series on Netflix. Pretty good watch.
I hope the current rush to develop COVID-19 vaccine to appease current administration does not result in a similar disaster.

The Queen’s Gambit
Anyone seen this?
Watching people play chess doesn’t sound particularly exciting, but the reviews are good…
Netflix’s The Queen’s Gambit is quietly one of the best TV shows of 2020
Also, started Watching Season 2 of Mandalorian.
I miss “Poker After Dark”…
