The tape doesn’t bother me at all and doesn’t noticeably change anything, but i can always change it out if needed at some point.
I use my LT1 a lot for night time reading and from what I can see, it allows me to use a lower output than normal, and prevents “wasted light.”
Honestly (and it’s still daytime here so I haven’t been able to thoroughly test), it seems way more efficient to use, if I don’t need 360 degree light.
Looks like a good way to walk around using the LT1 as an area light as well. Anyone that has ever watched a movie where they hold a 360 degree lantern up to see better should understand the fallacy of this, it puts as much light back in your face as you are getting from elevating the light… :person_facepalming:
Just happened to be buying 2 LT1s for someone else and noticed the orange. Site let me order but quickly got an update from Sofirn that there’s no stock. The person answering messages didn’t know when colored lanterns would again be available.
I was using my lantern in my RV this past weekend and noticed something new that I can’t seem to find any reference to. My switch LED was flashing slowly in an orange color. What does this mean?
Ah, okay, I see that now on the instruction sheet. I must have inadvertently changed it to flashing while locking/unlocking (which I do all the time). Thanks!
Hi! Did some search about flashing the lt1 in this thread and few others… Last info about that dated in 2019. Would like to know if someone achieve to flash anduril 2? I already flashed my D4V2 and KR1 with it and now using two different anduril version makes everything complicated for nothing… I’ve read that we need different programming kit than the D4V2 one… Last info found is we need to buy the HQ lexel progkey and build it yourself wich I don’t have the knowledge and equipment for… I’d like to buy a kit ready to use… Anyone have info where I can find that?
Can someone help me out? I bought a new one of these, has Rev 5 board. I was going to bridge 6,7 pads but noticed none of my pads were bridged and from looking around it looks like all rev 5 pads are not bridged. Can anyone shed some light? I thought 4 and 5 were always bridged from the factory. Was v5 changed?
