What blade did you EDC today?

What’s about the hidden locking pin?

That is OK. The law says:

This means exactly “opened AND locked with one hand”. So it is OK to carry knives that will lock automatically, but can be opened only with two hands (like lockback knife with nail nick). Or knives that can be opened with one hand, but do not lock automatically in the same action. Inserting the lock pin is fine (and makes this a fixed knife with a blade length under 12 cm).

Fun fact: It is perfectly fine to carry a 30 cm folding knife (with the same limitations for opening/locking).

SOG Centi I slipjoint. So small and thin, it hardly adds any bulk to the key ring.

Sorry for the boring repetition…

Still carrying the Asher Nomad. I absolutely love this knife for its size, profile, blade shape, quality steel, action, and looks. It’s keeping me from buying any more knives!

I was just looking at the Centri 2.0! Waiting for it come back in stock…

I feel like you do with the SRM 9306.

Got it for a friend who often goes to Germany with it’s strict knife laws and who “needs” a bottle opener
8Cr13MoV is pretty meh to me usually, but this balde is so thin that it’s absolutely perfect for it (A Vic SAK blade has no better steel).

If I eventually gift it to him I must decide if I want to get the black one. Maybe better I order another shiny one for him.

Today it’s my new Free Tiger FT11. Very impressive all around. 14C28N blade, G10 scales and ball bearing pivot. Great pivot action, super sharp out of the box, and very good ergonomics.

What model SRM is that? I really like it.

I meant the one above that one in the other pic. Sorry for the crappy quote.

Sorry, I found it.

That’s a SRM 9202 with D2 blade.

Thank you. I was debating between the SRM and the Land 961. I don’t buy tons of knives so, I get two in my sights then can’t decided. I should just buy both.

The weight difference might help you to choose. The SRM 9202 weights only 98 g / 3.46 oz thanks to its nested steel liners.

I am contemplating picking up one of these ( before all 2000 are sold )

Not everyday carry but

Problematic neighborhood?

Angry Shark

Nah got some trees to trim
I made a knife from a bearing race very similar in shape to that shark knife

My fancy for Japanese steel do give me a liking for the tanto, but i have never owned a knife with that shape.

Newest blade, SAK Compact with white scales.

Not sure if I should look for a set of Ti scales to match the Sinner or keep this original and get another to mod out.

On the SRM 9211 the transition between the main edge and the front part isn’t too dramatic so it’s also suitable for mundane cutting tasks.

I’d get another one to mod, this one is so classy in white.
