Got my greenie. Guess I didn't read the fine print - didn't realize it's a UI all their own, not Anduril, no AUX LED's around the LED.
I measured 4.2 tail amps on a 35E at 4.06V, but on a VTC5D, measured 5.2 tail amps. So, what does this tell us? Is it a FET with limited amps or just poor regulation?
Don't think it's a problem for the green - think it can take higher amps than the white or red?
Would also like to know if the green does take higher amps than the white and red (as mentioned in another thread, the red didn’t seem to have visible brightness difference when on High or on Turbo mode), whereas the white one will turn a bit bluish on Turbo. The green looks a wee bit brighter from High going to Turbo, again as per the sample I got of the FT03-Mini Osram (white/green/red)
I have been reading data sheets on all nm1 colors and they are all pretty close (+/- .75a) to each other if I recall correctly. I ordered blue, red, green and I got green, white, orange. Green is great, orange is pretty good too. I ordered blue and red nm1 on 20mm mcpcb from Neil to swap out orange and white (white sucks kindve). I’ll post pics of before and after as I will have all 5 versions at that point
Better then AX, Who just sent me the wrong (3) ft03 mini’s and then disputed my claim saying that the led color doesn’t effect the lights performance! Never again with AX, I regret not using free-me / BG for that !
Btw I ordered red, blue, green led with corresponding body colors for two of them, and I received white, orange and green led… very frustrating. Now reflowi g the correct colors myself as AX and seller told me to pound sand! Luckily Simon sells red and blue cslnm1 on 20 mm mcpcb’s…
