Latest release Vapcell 21700 5600mah 12.5A battery

It’s the chicken or the egg kind of problem.
AFAIK there are 0 flashlights on the market designed for 20350 or 21350 cells because the cells are not readily available.
There are some 26350 that would be compatible. 20350 or 21350 cell may actually make sense in such light as long as it’s modern chemistry because the 26350 we’ve seen to date are underwhelming, especially when it comes to internal resistance.
Anyway, as of now you’ll sell very few cells.
Unless we manage to convince some 21700 light maker to introduce a shorty tube.

I believe that this cell format has as much potential as 18350. But for this to happen someone would have to go first - or 2 parties would have to go together.

Maybe some BLFer who has contacts with flashlight makers could talk to them about that?

EDIT:
I see that I actually forgot about 1 20350 light.

There is a fairly popular (in some circles...) light from Amutorch called the E3S, usually top item featured on their home page here. It's a triple compact light.

They can provide a 20350, so one does exist. However it can fit a 21350 - I know because I can remove the tailcap and insert a 21700 in with no problem.

So actually the E3S is a 21350 light with no battery in existence that fits. Instead a 20350 or 18350 can be used, or even a 16340 will probably work.

I got 3 of them: copper colored, purple, and blue.

It took a while for the 18350 to become popular but now it is. I believe (or hope) the same thing will happen with the 21350 based on the ever growing popularity of the 21700.

For example, Amutorch took their E3 light (21700 based) and cut the tube down to make the E3S - only likely other manufacturers will do the same thing going forward, since the 21700 is really the new 18650. Makes sense?

...on my way. ;-)

vapcell Dennis, I do have some contacts to flashlight manufacturers. Maybe we can share some thoughts to see what's feasible in terms of bulk size, prices and scheduled time? :-)

I see a lot of potential for using (high drain) 21350 batteries in some flashlights that already exist in 21700 size but also for ultracompact small-sized new flashlights.

Wow this 21700 T50 seems too good to be true!!! Who makes this cell? Is it on its way to Mooch or HKJ for testing?

Thank you very much. If there are battery sizes with market potential, we expect to develop these products and try to achieve the best performance

We have sent samples to HKJ for testing

Mooch will not test the T50 for the time being, saying that few people have asked to test the battery

Hello Dennis,

It seems, that for some reason, 21700 T50 batteries are gone unavailable in the Vapcell AE store.

Can you tell me, what happened to them? Stock shortage, or other reasons?

Not available for me either. Was hoping to order these soon

Sorry, the stock limit is sold out

Waiting for next batch of goods to arrive

Ah, good, so it is just temporary

I was a bit afraid, that they would become unavailable in the same way, as keeppower 6000mAh (the only large protruding top high current 26650 battery).

Did a reseller buy a large quantity? Hoping these aren’t like the H10 14500s and unavailable for a long time.

The pair of T50's arrived today! They look worthy, I'll see how they stack up against the rest.

hey dennis, do you guys do customized orders?

OK, the T50's are for real. They will replace my 40T's. They tested at start in the neighborhood of 40T's. Measured 24 amps on a slightly modded K1 SBT90.2, and 17.5 amps on a FT03 XHP50.2 with spring bypasses (GOLISI at 16.3 amps). Tested on a FT03 SST-40 at 9.35 amps, where the 40T tested 9.4 amps, and the 30T at 9.5 amps.

Nice!

Did you use a clamp meter to check? Would the T50 heat up quickly @ 24 A?

i mean i heard this before, and i do believe it exists, but i just didnt think i would witness it first hand, so blatantly too…

11.11 is such a scam, im sure its true for many stores, but at least for the vapcell store on AE, i know first hand it is, some stores may increase price beforehand, but they didnt. instead, they increased the shipping. i was just looking at this listing earlier today, the shipping was $1 something, i dont have a screenshot to prove it, but i remember it because i was thinking to myself, “that is really cheap shipping for batteries, damn.”, and i was gonna get it tomorrow when the sale starts. but now, with a little over 2 hours in the countdown, they increased the shipping by like 6 bucks to cancel out the sale of $5 something, i dont even know what to say anymore…im just speechless.

Can you change the shipping method to a free one?

When I search for Vapcell S4, I end up with 7 results. Each one has Free Shipping to Australia.

Even the one with the battery? I just asked the rep, his answer is, oh because shipping to canada is expensive now, so i just changed it…like really?? Do i look dumb?

Seller’s Shipping is AU$1.47 for a Vapcell S30

It was AU$1.53 a few months ago. I guess the Australian dollar is better now and the price has dropped slightly to AU$1.47.

It might just be Canada…

Ask him something about it, show ur interest, and see if he changes the shipping for u too lol

I asked him if he can mix and match batteries for me, instead of 4x30Q at 59 usd or 4x40T at 63 usd, i wanted 2x30Q and 2x40T, and i was expecting a price in between, but not only did he change shipping cost, he tells me that would be 87 usd. So…ya forget it, not gonna buy from vapcell store again, so shady
