【ツ】Wurkkos HD20 Sales Thread - updated revision and available in green color

Hello everyone,

Wurkkos has just launched their first (21700) headlamp, called HD20. This new flashlight offers a quite fresh, new and unique design by combining two emitters with an L-shaped angle-head tool lamp design. It is designed for a variety of indoor and outdoor activities like camping, hiking, fishing or hunting. With the supplied headband it can also be used as a headlamp. It is powered by a single 21700 lithium-ion rechargeable battery, is rechargeable via USB-C (both type A-C and C-C cables) and can also work in reverse as a powerbank to charge external USB-devices. 18650 batteries can be used as well. Moreover, HD20 comes with an adjustable lanyard, a magnetic tailcap and a sophisticated user interface - developed in collaboration with BLF members - for flexible and convenient one hand operation. Samsung’s LH351D and Cree’s XP-L HD emitter in neutralwhite tint (5.000K) enable HD20 to provide both spotlight and floodlight in one single flashlight. Using 90CRI for floodlight result in great color rendition at close ranges.

You may want to check out a very thorough, honest and extensive review of HD20 here on BLF, made by our fellow member Lumeniac:

I ordered one two weeks ago and it arrived today. Very impressed with the light quality (color temperature and stuff, build quality is also fine) and optics, can’t wait to try it out tonight! I’ll also post a review here/on Aliexpress in the coming weeks

thank you and welcome reviews of the first batch of HD20

HD20 stock available now in Amazon US, will update the code soon

That’s a load of features, way to push the envelope. There was a thread a while ago about what two lights you would pack with you when SHTF. A light like this one would fill in a lot of gaps for me.

Would very much like a Amazon US code. Would also love to add in a review too.

Edit: Does anyone have a picture of the “army green” color? It’s out of stock on Aliexpress, so the photo isn’t even available to view.

Ordered mine October 13. Tracking went live Oct 15, but nothing since then. Its a long way from China to Texas

HD20 stock available now in Amazon DE

Army Green will be ready next batch

Update:

Stock is available now on Amazon US and Amazon DE.

OP is updated.

Sweet! Will the green version be on Amazon USA, or Sofirnlight.com, or Aliexpress?

I’d also like to know when the green one will be available on Amazon. Or Aliexpress. So I know when to check. Is it like days away? Weeks away?

I haven’t been able to find a picture of the green one. The review you posted earlier in this thread had one that looked like it was tan color? Still interested in seeing a picture of the army green.

I will ask Wurkkos/Sofirn if they have a picture of an army green prototype already. It could be very similar to Sofirn‘s green C8F.

I am pretty sure it will be available on Amazon US/DE and AliExpress. As soon as batch #1 (black only) is close to be sold out they will start with batch #2 (incl. army green).

Will available on Amazon US, EU and Aliexpress

C8f would look awesome in B&W camo colors…

Almost bought sc31pro. But this one is so tempting with 20$ discount. I will wait until 11.11

I have and like both  SC31 pro (5000k) is a great EDC light producing a lot of light, has nice flood/throw, is very compact and has Anduril firmware but can’t be charged with type c - type c cables and also lacks powerbank functionality and a magnetic tailcap. For a walking-hand light I like this one better because of it’s straight design.

The HD20 should also produce 5000k light but it’s of much better quality (high CRI) with one of its LH351D emitters. It’s not as “in the face” bright as the SC31 Pro but it sure nicely lights up the things around you. This one can charge with type c - type c cables and has powerbank functionality so it can be helpful in some scenario’s. It does have a magnetic tailcap and is also a bit bigger and heavier than the SC31 Pro (but that’s mostly because of the bigger 217000 battery). So far it has very nice runtimes but I sometimes miss the voltage-check functionality of Anduril.

Both are amazing lights (really impressed by the light the HD20 produces, and it’s kinda sad the SC31 Pro doesn’t have the LH351D emitter as an option, maybe in the future!), but in my opinion for slightly different scenario’s

Thank you for reminding me that it can be used as power bank. I’m new to flashlight world and decided to have a decent one for emergency light because i’m just realized that i only have 2 cheap and low lumen incandescent light. of course, sc31pro would be wasteful to be on the shelf all the time. But i love how sc31 have muggle mode for my kids and wife to safely use it and have battery indicator light on all the times. It would be a shame if you’re urgently need it but it’s not gonna turned on.

And i had sp31v2 before (decided to sold it because seeing sc31pro are sold at almost the same price), i can see why everybody loves LH315D. Seeing hd20 has floody LH315D, it’s gonna be perfect to support my work as a designer and furniture maker. Throw is no good for inspecting colors & materials. And now my wife would not ask me why i need to bring a flashlight as edc (lives in a big city, so it’s consider weird to bring flashlight daily), because i will use it mainly as a power bank. Sure as power bank, i will check the battery daily, so the absence of always on indicator is not a big deal.

Now i just only need to wait until 11.11 and hope they included 4800mah not 4000mah. And buy a cheap energizer 2AA for emergency

You can disable that indication light  7 short clicks when the light is off (or 3 when it is locked out) toggles through the indication modes (low - high - breathing/heartbeat - off)
