Would the clip work with the D4v2? I know you would need a wire or something to maintain contact in the tail, but can it fit on a D4v2?
I just saw that the D4SV2 is no longer for sale. Does this mean that a D4SV2 with 21700 battery will be available soon?
I’d rather hope for a D4S with the a KR4 type linear-fet 5A/8A driver. Would make a very practical light.

I want a KR4 in Cyan with a 90.2 emitter. Thinking hard on making it happen… 
Why KR4 with SBT-90.2? You could get KR1 with SBT-90.2 instead. I have KR1vn with SBT-90.2 and it is worth it.
Will the new clip design be the default clip now supplied with the KR4? (I prefer the old one)

Can someone chime in. Do kr1/kr4 clips fit the D4v2? I know a metal spacer is needed to maintain electrical contact but does it fit the tube and is it retained by the tailcap?

However the clips are as different as possible, one follows the curvature of the body the other one opposes. Since D4v2 is straight not sure if that clip would even be suitable as clip for it, considering the hard curve, I would not take the first clip design as an example of how the deep carry high curve new KR4 clip would fit on a D4v2.
Yes, the new clip is default supplied with KR4, if you prefer the old clip, just send us an email.
The KR1 is still with the old clip by default, you can also send us an email if you have any special request.
