What blade did you EDC today?

Victorinox SAK One-Handed Trekker

I had it for 12 years. I damaged the screwdriver and Victorinox kindly replaced the whole knife for free.

The Odium arrived yesterday so it’s in my pocket today. The Mini Archbishop has been my regular EDC since I got it.

Just got to work, today’s carry….

Knives with holes like that in the blade, in my ( raging ) mind which like to play with words i have named those sewing needle knives.
Elongated holes like those do not make it better.
Other than that the general blade shape are fine.

SAK Deluxe Climber, or Camper. Can’t recall the REI item and I’ve never managed to send my spare SwissChamp to Pop’s place here in Los Angeles, otherwise, it would be that.

I’ll make sure to post more in the future.

Harnds Assassin. What a gem this is

Today was a hunting day, so I carried my Randall Model 8 Trout and Bird in stag. It's always a good day when I get to carry my one and only Randall.

Edit to add: And it's a better day if I have to use it on a whitetail buck!

The new Kizer Sliver Micarta with S35VN blade. It weights only 2.64 oz (75 g).

Nice materials, nice looking knife….but that clip, not feeling it….your thoughts on the clip isti?

It doesn’t match the lines of the handle aesthetically but it works fine. I’ll replace it as soon as I find a better looking one.

Kizer Gemini with Micarta handle:

I got the chance to use my hunting season EDC on Wednesday...

Now, it's back to EDC'ing a folder... today it's an Emerson Horseman.

Harnds Blazer with a partial serrations blade. It’s a handful with thick scales, and a four inch blade.

I got the brown one. It’s a very nice knife. My only complaint was that they left the inner scale edges rough. As usual, that’s an easy fix. I just went around with an emery board and smoothed up the edges. It was my first time modding Micarta and it was a lot quicker than G10.

Silver Alox Pioneer

Are you sure we’re talking about the same folder? The Gemini Micarta has full steel liners so the inner scale edges aren’t exposed. Anyway the Gemini is a pretty good compact flipper.

Now that’s interesting. The brown one has nested liners and thinner blade stock.
