KC1 keychain light is available now

Green anodization, like Noctigon K1 or Emisar D4SV2.

Emisar D4 with green anodization was my favorite.

+ green switch and KP CSLNM1.F1 LEDs to be completely green

That’s a phosphor-converted green led: it looks green, but you can still see other colors.

If you really want to go all-in on green, I recommend XP-E2 Green 520nm with the 7.5A CC driver.

I wanted a monochromatic green led, so in my last Hank order I got a custom D4V2 with it. It is less powerful, but I like the green color a lot more.

Oh, thanks! I was wondering why I could see other colours when I put a KP CSLNM1.F1 in my Lumintop Tool AA 2.0. I need to get a preheat platform and redo it (damaged the LED slightly when using a heatgun from a hardware store to reflow). I’ll have a look for XP-E2 green emitters… I haven’t looked into custom drivers yet. The Tool AA 2.0 would probably get too hot beyond 3A.

My post was ambiguous.

I recommended XP-E2 Green 520nm with the 7.5A CC driver, but I didn’t mean a custom driver, I just meant Emisar D4V2 or Noctigon KR4 with Hank’s 5A or 7.5A constant current driver.

XP-E2 Green 520nm does not need more than 1.5A to perform at its best, in fact 5A CC driver is probably enough for a quad: 1.25A for each led.

I’ll try to swap the CSLNM1.F1 with an XP-E2 green on the Tool AA 2.0 to see what it looks like.

D4V2 sand arrived in Sydney this morning! Hopefully it’ll arrive in Melbourne soon. Excited!

r/flashlight :innocent:

The “wait, there’s are people obsessed with flashlights ?! lol ” type comments crack me up. If they only knew…

its up now, but it is still SUPER slow, i even got “suspended”, i wonder how many orders hank got last night

It’s more of a practica… that is to say, each flashlight has a purpo… I have 20+ flashlights becau… :person_facepalming: I like flashlights.

Any recommendations for a K1 configuration? :innocent:

i can think of at least 10 different purposes to get 10 different lights.

1. general purpose flood light around the house
2. general purpose thrower light with good spill for walking the dog
3. lantern for power outage
4. flood headlamp for housework
5. thrower headlamp for hiking
6. keychain light on keychain for outside
7. keychain light for nightstand because obv ur not gonna get ur keys first to get up and go to the washroom at night
8. uv light for travelling, checking hotel bedsheet and maybe counterfeit money and stuff
9. edc, self explanatory
10. dedicated thrower light for fun, self defense, and guiding uber eats driver

these are all very useful and easily justifiable reasons.

now of course some of these can be combined into one ljght, but…why do that to yourself?

I think I need a general purpose K1 thrower and a headlamp thrower next…

ya this is my plan

1. sp36
2. ft03
3. lt1
4. havent found yet
5. havent found yet
6. a3 pro
7. e3a
8. havent looked into yet
9. m300
10. k1

4 and 5 i can technically get hm65r to satisfy both, but its kinda expensive…
and 8, i can get another rovyvon, but i rather not have any overlaps.

1. D4V2 :innocent:

im on a budget lol

I've just noticed these backlit switches, and would have loved to have this on my recently ordered Al version, rather than the front color LEDs.

This is apparently only available for the Cu and Ti versions, correct?

…and for the Al as well.

Weight (unlike size) is missing on all Emisar lights description pages, whereas it is mentioned for Noctigon lights.
