This looks to be ideal, interested in getting 2 lights in 4500K HCRI for photography.
I’m no familar with the E21A, would like to see real world beamshots.
I like the rosiness of the 219B 4500K 9080 and am hoping this is similar.
Impressed with the driver efficiency!
Any estimate on price?
Thanks!

This is a mule so there will be no beam; basically an almost 180 deg wall of light.
E21A is not nearly as rosy as 219b. It is very neutral which should be ideal for photography.

Actually, it depends. If an E21A emitter is driven at below 100mA, it tends to be looking less rosy, but above 500mA, rosiness kicks in more pronouncedly. Above 1A, it is definitely rosy.
I really would love to see some kind of cover in the front that hides the cables, screws and other components on the MCPCB other than the main LEDs. I guess to me it just looks cluttered, or like someone forgot to put a reflector in. Mules rarely look deliberate to me. Would maybe have to move the solder pads for the LED wires a but further towards the outside, and make sure not to block any light coming from the main LEDs. A cover made from white, heat resistant plastic would be great. Not sure how well aux LEDs would work through it, but maybe those could be moved more to the center and not be covered by the plastic cover...
I’d be interested in the 3000K and 4500K version of this.
I agree with others who have suggested putting a frosted lens (maybe as an optional extra) on this flashlight. I think that would even out the cct shift across the beam.
It might be too late in the development process, but if there was a way to include a 1/4 thread mount somewhere on the light (like the Acebeam EC65) that would make it even better for photographers. That would make it easier to mount it on a light stand pointing into an umbrella or softbox.

Personally I don’t care about aux lights much but I really like the extra large mcpcb. Will have really good heat sinking!!!
Soldering looks very poor and unprofessional
I 3 am interested 4 this info. Many new anduil lights in FF dev, but mum is the current word in regards to version.
I wonder if its just get er done quailty for the protype (hopefully)
This is my strong suspicion. Truly appreciate their willingness to share prototype pics that could be less alluring than the production unit.

When they announced this I did some brief googlefu and all I could come up with was that it’s likely used in Chinese tool battery packs.

When is the expected released date and price? I’m interested..
I think aux lights just add unnecessary cost and complexity to a light.

Even for light painting and stuff? Or is it just not enough lumens?

Some information would be helpful about the available (or planned) CCT choices.
Also, for me, this price is a bit of setback, even if this is a completely new design.
