Maybe they ship fifo. AE was first to offer the lights, so AE customers are served first.
The green ones for kitchen use do fine, the LED surface is not that hard and you just want to scuff it like a diffused lens.
Bought some of these this morning in sofirnlight.com, to offer to some kids of friends, and an orange one for me
Also a C01S orange for me
They shipped the diffusers that I ordered on Nov 5th… but not the 2 C01’s from the same day… nor the lights from Oct 28.
A.E. orders must have priority.
I just received notification that my order of these has shipped from Sofirn. Hang on, looks like they are shipping now.
Yep
Yep Yep :+1:

Factory and warehouse is trying best to fulfill your orders as soon as possible, your patience is much appreciated.
Search Amazon 3M Scotch-Brite 6×9” sheets. They come Red/Coarse Green/Medium White/Fine grit…
The abrasive pads are primarily used for auto body work, sanding irregular surface contours without worry of taking off too much material on sharp edges
Also used in metal working polishing, deburring, or “shoe shining” shafts on a lathe
For buffing off LEDs (diffuser) I’d try medium grit, or coarse if not effective
Cheers!
Thanks Kona, your help is much appreciated
Before I used fine water sandpaper grit 600~800 for similar works
Greetings
HollyT:Hi there,
Quick question: The photo of the LED pack of the Sophia 3400Ks on the SOFIRN page said „7-8 lumen“. So could we expect an upgrade in the output? And is the Sophia as stable/efficient as the Yuji?
Sorry for the basic questions. This is my first post :innocent: .
If you test bare led, you get 7-8 lumen, but there is a loss in a flashlight, so the C01 with 3400K sophia led give about 3lm - 5lm
C01 with 5mm led is not supposed to be a bright light, but a keychain light can used for reading in the night, looking for something in the dark, giving as kid light etc.
Oh, if you buy together with the diffuser, it can be a candle.
Ok, so the new C01 is even less bright than the Yuji 3200K C01? Is the runtime at least longer then?

It must be a bit brighter than the Yuji led, see the chart below that I made a while ago, but we are still talking a few lumen from a 5mm led, so do not expect too much.

Ok, a bit brighter would be perfect. A bit less than E01 is wonderful
/EDIT: ordered 5 in 3400K :-).
Picked up a total of 19 of these C01 (including 4 of the red version) on behalf of my own collection, for a couple of friends, and for Christmas gifts. Not sure if this iteration of C01 had an interest list, but I’m fairly sure I expressed interest earlier in the thread, so I wanted to give support and confirm that a purchase was made.
Really appreciate Sofirn being active here on BLF and making product decisions based upon our feedback. Can’t wait to receive them!
Received shipping notice… However, when I click on tracking get a blank page. This has been the situation for over a week now.
Does this mean my lights are being shipped by very slow Chinese Junk?

Have you tried entering the tracking number on a tracking site, like https://www.17track.net?
It’s possible their site just glitched out.
Thanks Serlite, Yes, that site works great!
Shipping much faster than slow sailboats. Arrived at West Coast distribution center today

Any questions about tracking, please contact sofirnlight@gmail.com
I also use this site for tracking and it provides some information that 17track doesn’t show:
