D-C-Fix, SuperLube, and SP36 Anduril | mohrlumens.com | US Based Flashlight Store

Hello!
Are you going to re-stock on the 21700 flashlights?
I was looking of the M21A with Osram and haven’t decided to order from Ali, because of the delivery times.
Thanks!

Ruben.

Lusting after a couple of T2's. Any idea when they'll be restocked?

I am not planning on stocking those in the super near future. I want to, but due to my super limited budget for the store, I have to be very selective with the products I restock and when I do it. This time that meant focusing mostly on the C8+ and S2+. I do have some S21As in but they are all SST40. I wish I could give a timeline but due to the state of the world and my life, it wouldn't be remotely accurate.

Similar to the post above, I can’t give an accurate estimate, but I can tell you I don’t have any on the way right now. I’ll have more whenever I can afford to have them. I like the T2s too.

Good to see a US based store. All my funds right now are tied up in Christmas and birthday crap (got 8 b-days before the new year). Mark me down for one of those desert C8s tho, just might have to be after everything.

Just wondering what state are you based out of?
< EDIT > n/m I’m an idiot and see you have your location on here filled out. I was looking at the website and didn’t see it anywhere.

I just ordered a couple more C8s. One with a green OSRAM and one with an SST20.

For once I’m glad to #shoplocal in Fayetteville, TN! Order placed yesterday!

Wow! I didn’t even realize you were from Fayetteville when I packed the order. We’re about 10 minutes from each other, small world! Thanks for the order.

[Update: December 11, 2020]

I checked your store and stock available is out. I hope this means your business is booming and your waiting for more parts.

Hey, yes most things are out of stock at the moment due to a surprising amount of demand last month. I was not expecting business to be very good after Christmas. I have a resupply order in place so some things should be restocked in a few weeks. I didn’t post here last time I restocked because I am having trouble with logistics and I didn’t want things to sell out super fast. As I am able to handle demand, I will become more active in posting updates about the store. In the meantime if there is something you’d really like me to restock, I have optional email notifications for sold out products. You can sign up on the product page and it will let you know when that product is restocked. It also helps me to know what products are in demand. The next order will restock a lot of the throwers along with a few S2s.

Thanks everyone for shopping at the store. Unfortunately there will be recurring periods of being sold out until I can afford to order a substantial amount more inventory at a time.

Ever since Mountain Electronics stopped selling complete lights, you are the only one selling Convoy lights stateside that I know of, so yah, your stuff will sell out quick!

I made a subreddit for the store, everyone who is interested in this thread should go join the subreddit and participate in the poll there! I plan to use it to get feedback, interact with you all, and deliver updates in a nicer format than BLF will allow.

[Update: March 18, 2021]

  • Made a Subreddit, it will probably replace this page eventually so you might want to check it out
  • Restocked a lot of Convoy stuff including the L21A, M21A, and C8+ OSRAM variants plus more!
  • Renamed the "junkpile" section to "yardsale" because I thought that fit better
  • Restocked some components

What does a person do if a CONVOY light needs repair?

Most Convoys are designed to be 100% user repairable. They don't have any kind of warranty or authorized repair service or anything like that, which is part of the reason they can be so affordable. The basic answer to your question is you fix it yourself, or if you don't want to worry with that, you could sell it to someone who wants it for parts. There is a lot of knowledge kicking around on BLF, reddit, and other forums regarding the Convoys and how they work. All the parts are available through stores like mine or AliExpress. Fortunately they are quite reliable.

Due to the ease of modding/repairing, and availability of parts, they make for an ideal first entry into the flashlight tinkering hobby.

Reminder to check out the subreddit, which will probably replace this thread someday

You should to add some more Convoys to your lineup! I’ve been wanting a M3-C, and 4x18a, and a Z1, but I already caved and ordered a Z1 from Simon.
Also Astrolux would be great to have too! I just ordered a MF01 Mini for the wife and that will be the first Astrolux we have…
I used to run a Ebay store myself, so I know it isn’t feasible to immediately add everything that everyone wants… But these are just suggestions from me!

Hey thanks for the suggestions! Astrolux is on my radar, but I have no idea when I might get any of their stuff in. I'll probably add the Z1 eventually too, as you're not the first to request it. My current lineup is still way smaller than I want it to be, but I'm dealing with some issues related to tariffs/customs fees that make it harder to expand as of this moment. Working to resolve those issues as best I can, but it definitely slows things down.

If you want to hear about major updates you can sign up to the newsletter on the website. I've only sent out one email ever, so it really is just for important things.
