【convoy】H4 and B35AM options are updated

Push pull setups are simple, tried and tested. They also work well in rainy days for as long as you take a bit of care with the zoom mechanism.

I guess Simon is paying for the hazing with this flashlight, product assessment and development has been inadequate or not good enough. It still is great but, as with anything, you must believe right. This at least means mainly listening to the people who actually cares about the product you are developing, and listening to knowledgeable customers.

In any case one must not throw in the towel with things like this, but persevere and improve them.

Guys
Which convoy flashlight has the most diffused (the widest) light at short distance. (Flood beam ?) on a 21700 or 26500 battery and holds stably on high non turbo mode for 2 hours? Natural white?
S12 ?
Regards.

Yes, probably the S12. Get LH351D for maximum brightness and great tint

Adding some grease to the O-ring, will it improve it?

Would this be enough?

Simon,

Have you checked new M3-C ramping speed?

The lighted switches fit generally 18650 lights. In S21A he uses different switch and they don’t fit directly. Unless I miss something. Simon?

Grease fixes it but as mentioned, dust particles will then stick to it and get inside.

I think the issue is that the oring isn’t tight enough around the body. Sounds as if the friction is the issue. I installed a small S2+ oring and it was fine but it’s too small to seal it from water

This is somewhat off topic, but if I accidently click order received in AliEx before its actually arrived nothing really happens right? I prematurely clicked to confirm receipt while I was fiddling around with the mobile app just now

I think once you confirm that you received the order it means the seller will get paid and you can’t complain about not receiving the goods.

You get 15 days of buyer protection and then you’re not covered. Hope it was nothing too costly

Yeah I figured that. But probably not much else right?

Yeah I figured that too. It wasn’t that costly, just one of the lights I’ve been waiting on from Simon.

I saw one of the reviews here for “Gray convoy S21A with luminus sst40”, where a customer mentioned that he requested for Simon to add the lighted cap for his S21A. There’s even a picture of it. Check review with photo dated 19-Oct-2020.

However the customer didn’t go into detail whether the spring with lighted cap has that bypass wire. When purchased separately, the blue/orange lighted caps have no bypass wire.

If it is a package from Simon it will reach home. Just have faith.

You can also “talk with Eva” for a little while until you get in contact with some customer service agent, and report them such a thing. They should fix it. You may need to tell Eva a few lies, though.

So it’s not just me randomly choosing options and complaining about not receiving parcel etc. just to ask a real person about why is not my feedback visible?

Hey Bro, you look like new here. As a Pole, please let me welcome you here on behalf of all the users.
Convoy makes mostly lights with a reflector which means there’s a hotspot and some (depending mostly on reflector shape) spill.
In my opinion the most flody is Convoy Z1, which can zoom the beam. By rotating the head you make the beam wide or narrow. Contrary to reflector flashlights, zoom (aspherical lens) give you more uniform beam with no hotspot. But ZOOMies has their disadvantages. Among others, they are difficult to make them airtight and they loose some light (which is emitted on too small angle to hit the lens). So if you don’t mind the disadvantages, a zoomie can give you both: focused or wide beam.
Alternatively you might want to search for flashlight with TIR lens. TIR lens replaces reflector, also loses some power (but not as much as zoomie), but can mix the beam and regulate it’s width permanently.
Today I’ve received Seeknite X6s and I’m really impressed by it. It’s like Astrolux X6, beautiful Nichia 90+ CRI beam and lots of flood. Actually it’s way more floody than Emisar D4s with XP-L HD. It’s still available and the price is IMHO awesome considering what you get.

Anyone knows the Cut Off Voltage for M21C-U XHP70.2 with the new ramping driver

Does it have Low Voltage “Protection” or just Low Voltage “Warning”

The listing shows

Is the S21B compatible with the new 8A buck driver? I’m not interested in the output so much as the additional efficiency.

My S21B flashes out 5 Volts at battery check with a recharged battery :person_facepalming:
It seems to be correct if voltage is under 4.00V.
