So two of these is roughly the same cost of an 18 pack of Energizer Lithium AA.
Also too expensive compared to Eneloop.
If the Vapcell P1418 was $3 or $4 , that would make a more interesting story but at $9 each seems a bit much.

Vapcell P1418 - little sadness for big money
An 18 pack of Lithium AA batteries are disposable. That means it will cost you more in the long run compared to a rechargeable battery that costs more up front.
Second, I think its very important to consider your impact on the environment. Buying disposable products solely because they are cheaper has a long term cost on everyone. We should all be held more accountable on our environment impact.
I think 9$ for a rechargeable cell AA cell is a touch high, but still reasonable.

If they’re what I think they are (Li cell with step-down circuit to produce a flat 1.5V), then they’re great, but they drop dead with zero warning.
Unlike alkaleaks which’ll keep dimming ’til they cut out entirely, or won’t turn on at all if running on vapors, or even NiMH which still dim way more rapidly than alkaleaks, you’ll still have some warning.
These doodads will give a nice flat 1.5V until they crap out completely with, like I said, zero warning. Had my E03 (to avoid alkaleaks, yet still preserve mode-spacing) just shut off like it was dead when I was down in a dark basement.
Otoh, they’re great for wireless mice, etc., as they won’t leak, and when they unexpectedly crap out it’s not the end of the world as long as you have spares or can take some time to recharge ’em.
