What blade did you EDC today?

It doesn’t match the lines of the handle aesthetically but it works fine. I’ll replace it as soon as I find a better looking one.

Kizer Gemini with Micarta handle:

I got the chance to use my hunting season EDC on Wednesday...

Now, it's back to EDC'ing a folder... today it's an Emerson Horseman.

Harnds Blazer with a partial serrations blade. It’s a handful with thick scales, and a four inch blade.

I got the brown one. It’s a very nice knife. My only complaint was that they left the inner scale edges rough. As usual, that’s an easy fix. I just went around with an emery board and smoothed up the edges. It was my first time modding Micarta and it was a lot quicker than G10.

Are you sure we’re talking about the same folder? The Gemini Micarta has full steel liners so the inner scale edges aren’t exposed. Anyway the Gemini is a pretty good compact flipper.

Now that’s interesting. The brown one has nested liners and thinner blade stock.

Mine weights 3.2 oz / 91 g with full steel liners and 3 mm blade stock. What’s about your version?

The published stats for mine look to be 2.8oz and 0.09” but a few places have different numbers. I’ll take some real-life measurements when I get home. (That will hopefully be before Thanksgiving.)

Love all my PF knives, <what do you think of that Shooziz XUN-112 ? been thinking of ordering 1

I’m happy with it. It’s super smooth out of the box and it flips open nicely. Despite the massive blade stock it cuts well too.
The 14C28N blade steel and the micarta handle slabs are refreshing after D2 & G10 in this budget category.
