Yes - the IF25A is in only. Just proves the power bank feature of the HD20 does work, least on some USB-C connected devices.
The HD20 charges from a USB-C wall adapter (full C), but doesn't work as a power bank to some USB-C devices, most likely the devices that are true USB-C. The IF25A is the typical cheap USB-C, meaning doesn't charge from a USB-C wall adapter.
I don't know how, or maybe don't have the right equipment to measure charge voltage and amps on USB-C. Any suggestions on how to do that?
Good. Everybody should have that type of equipment. The one I have is older and only does USB in and out so I’m going to have to get one that does C both ways also. It’s invaluable to be able to look at phone charging issues battery charging issues all around.
The 130g weight spec’d is the the flashlight and head strap together, no battery. I don’t know why they did this, but it’s the only thing that makes sense.
The actual weight of the HD20 with no battery, no clip is 87g, not 130g.
Hey Wurkkos. I ordered the HD20 with the battery and it seems to have a flashing red during a 90 minute charge. The charge indicator never turned green. Via the manual it says the battery is critical so I tried swapping it out with another battery and the problem was not resolved. I ordered the light off AliExpress on 11.11.20. Any advice on this issue would be appreciated. Thanks.
My FC11 is a solid red when charging. I looked around and found info regarding the below. I don’t think my battery would still be below 3% after a hour charge. Also the other batteries tested were running well in other flashlights.
3% > Flashing Red
30% > Constant Red > 3%
Constant Green > 30%
We Tested discharge of HD20 again (batch 1#) different phone and products shows different discharge current, so different equipment will influence the reverse charging current.
