:+1: *got home from TG this evening and just double checked and the battery in my S11c is indeed the better 3000mAh Sofirn. So I am sure it came with that battery (which is a great fit for this light)!
I echo semtex41's thanks. I first saw the S11 on Sofirn's website and could only order the XP-L version. Little did I know it was on Amazon. I ordered 2 for the kids as well! Made my Black Friday more interesting :)
Glad some people got hold of some of these S11c lights this week. For the extra few bucks you are getting a decent 18650, USB C cord, and lanyard in a nicely made light WITH a magnetic tail also- FROM Amazon! -not bad at all guys and gals 
I WISH Sofirn would put the better emitter into the S11b (with it’s ramping mode). I’d love a nicer 5k(ish) tint in a little ramping light like this. But the 6.5k XP-L is pretty blue (in the current S11b) and it’s not a light I’d use in a heavy rain storm (or much outdoors) and really… the S11c’s current IU and super emitter really is perfect for my bedside (and any indoor) use. Barry at Sofirn made a good call there, and I’ll buy a few more when they come back into stock (at Sofirn).

Does the battery level indicator on Wuben E05 only work when using Li-Ion cell or does it also show correctly when using NiMH/AA?
Good question, Yes and No.
Just pulled out the 4.2 and put in Eneloop at 1.4v and button blinks Blue (30-79) however when with batt at 1.33 it went Solid Red (15-29)
Will burn it some more this afternoon to see when it hits blinking Red.
Update, after being on high for about 35-40 minutes it is now at 1.15v and button reads Blinking Red (0-15%) and now only operates on Low and Med.
Final update, it started blinking red and kept doing that from med, stepped to low still blinking and finally shut off, voltage was .82v. So it is not a vampire.
At least it gives some measure but it really is built for measuring the 4.2
What is amazing to me is how it seems to hold the same output on the L-M-H on 4.2 as 1.4AA. Most lights get way brighter on lower modes with 4.2
The power button also takes a good amount of pressure to activate so have not had problem coming on in pocket yet.
Also uses a Copper board for emitter so it sheds heat well.
If you have a decent heat gun you can reflow the emitter while still in the light of you have a small tip and work fast. Kapton tape near/on supply wires help keep them in place.
Just used a set of grippy garden gloves to get bezel off. Never tried to tear driver out or anything so can’t comment there.
