Can somebody help me please? I had M21B with SST40 for some time then bought S21B with CULPM1.TG and decided to switch leds - install SST40 into S21B and CULPM1.TG into M21B. I have replaced leds, but faced a problem with gaskets - the one from S21B is too small for SST40 and the one from M21B is too big for CULPM1.TG. What gasket should I order for SST40 in S21B and for CULPM1.TG in M21B?
Unless you are using it with single mode, or
unless you mod the driver with a resistor, or
unless the new drivers are prepared to be used with a lighted tailcap…
I would say “no”, because it will jam the modes order (wether you have memory configured or not).
Using Biscotti with lighted tailcaps will make it jump when you turn OFF/turn ON the light. Specially if you are used to always start in the lowest/highest modes of the sequence. If you don’t care about it turning ON in a random mode, go for it
I am glad, that not only me, but other people are saying this. (I already made here a warning few weeks before, as I had experience with a build including this emitter.)
For small bodies like S2+, 4×7135 should be the best (I’d go with the 5-30-100% plain old but good driver).
For a Convoy C8+, I think, 6×7135 would be a sweet spot, maybe 8×7135, if somebody goes for the safe maximum output.
I bought it from here , it does have biscotti firmware. Also does the switch work with the SST40 driver running biscotti like the one found in the s21b? link
Thanks, Tom. I was trying to find another post i had seen you link that list in, for this question but couldnt find it. Looks like the list has gotten more fulfilled since i have last seen it anyway. Good Stuff!
Damn, looks like the M3 just went over the edge of one of those lights I cannot hold off from buying anymore. I had been on the fence for 2 months now every time i thought to check it out, but the charging and ramping just kicked it into my wallet. thanks… :person_facepalming:
