Crowdfunding of mass model of SunLike bulb (TRI-R) updated 02.05.2021

60 leds 15w

It is mass, so, it will be in stock ready to shipping

About 75lm/watt in this bulb (with diffuser)

2200k only cob 6w what was produced specially for me by SEL (Smart Eco Lighting co. ltd.)

Only 12x99mm pcb with 3-12 leds плата с 4-12шт SunLike 3030 12x99x1.6мм 4P3S/2S 60-480мА

I have no spectrometer, but you can find any duv what you want. There’s many reviews of my lamp and leds.

It can be cob sol, cob saw (seoul semiconductor), smd 3030 6v, smd 2835, sunLikePlus, SOL cob without violet, S model with switching

Since the bulbs are being mass produced, can we still request specific combinations of CCT in a single bulb?

What CCT?

I know if it will be 2x4k+1x5k = 4200k and it is good spectrum

All another only with big order

That 4200K option may work. Ideally I’d get as close to 5600k as possible but with lower duv, so I’m curious what something like 2x 5600, 1x 4000 would produce.

It might be a good business move to mix 3000k and 4000k LEDs to create the elusive “true neutral” 3500k bulb. There are a lot of sellers selling 2700/3000/4000/5000k bulbs, but I don’t know of any selling a good 3500k.
I know you are thinking I must be basing this on personal opinion, but the ANSI standard “C78.376-2014” accepts 3500K as the true neutral.

I still have no spectrometer =(

I’ll trade you a 3500k bulb for a spectrometer report of it from my C-800

Spectrometers may look expensive, but if you get one used, then re-sell it, it’s like a free rental

I can take mixing spectrums from my helper for free =)

But I really do not need it

Did this for myself, but thought I’d share it in case the comparison is useful to others:

Added.

Oooo, you should make a ~13W BR30 replacement. Would love to see that 3500k combo in our kitchen!

Edit: Added BR30:

Edit: In fact, the BR30 is even more suited to this configuration for LEDs. The A19 and A21 bulbs are designed to be closer to omni-directional, while the BR30 is designed for a 90 degree direction beam.

Edit2: If I could buy BR30 in 3500K SunLike 2835 that put out 1000 lumen for under $35 ea, I would buy 6 right now.

Evanh  :+1:

s. 5% discount for this man!

SunLike10x v.2 (9.5w) (RIRERA9) also can be 11w if 36 leds

RIRERA11 (can be 9.5w if 18 leds)

I can not find aluminium body BR30 =(

But I can add reflector if COB led(s)

s. use optiPNG to lossless optimise size of png files
(after that pngOUTwin for additional ~5%)

Those are some great sketches evanh, good work!
Did you use Inkscape?

Thanks Joshk, I use Figma for just about everything that doesn’t need more than 0.1mm precision.

Here’s an (optimized) png of my SORAA VIVID bulb. It’s a bit thicker than normal BR30’s, so I took measurements with calipers in case it helps to find another body that might fit.

SunLike, in a year or two years, with the work you are doing in this area, a company is going to try to buy you out in a way that may well sell you short, or worse maybe just take your work and market with a much larger backing fund.

I do hope you are preparing yourself for this.

By the way, subscribed. Future customer.

Evanh May be something like that?

p.s. I just measured the small one

Ф93x99mm

It’s close. If there was a way to extend it at the base by 14mm, it’d be about perfect. As is, it looks like it gets thicker too close to the socket.

EDIT: Looks like the max diameter of the recessed fixture is 113mm, so too small for the next size up.
