EMISAR D4S V2 26650

Does anyone sell a pocket clip that fits these?

Hey what Hank light should I get next? I have the D4SV2 /6500k and the KR4/2000K. Thinking of the D18 but can’t decide what LED and optics. Torn between 2700, 4000, or deep red.

I’ll second this! Although I have the astrolux ec01 holster and it fits great. So does mf01 mini in ec01 holster.

I’d go 4000k

Thanks for the advice! Why do you think 4000 would be the best to get?

I talked to a guy another thread who suggested I get a tint mix.
“You could get a D18 with an even mix of SST-20 2700K and SST-20 4000K if you email Hank and ask. It would be around 3100K-3300K and below BBL.”

Truthfully I might just get one of each. (:

One of each would be awesome lol.

I suggested 4000k because you have a 6500k and 2000k emisar/noctigon light already, i love my sst20 4000k fw3a (its a great tint), i think the red sst20dr would get “old” (i want a sst20dr from hank as well, but will probably get it in d4sv2 to save :money_mouth_face:, and i would get the throw optics with the 4000k becuase itd be cool and unique to have a throwy flooder with awesome tint 4000k sst20’s. I have been wanting a d18 for awhile now and will probably get the 4000k variant. I just see the d18 as a utility/useful light, which i see needing a useful emitter, and i feel the 4000k is a sweet spot for nice light and useful brightness. imo

EDIT - of course my recommendations is from a position of someone who does NOT have any sub 4000k lights, so take that for what you will…

Can somebody hellp me. After month I cant get in utility mode anymore normaly? Everything else is working fine but from off 3 clicks or 2 clicks hold just exits the off mode and I have to click one more to turn light on. Try reseting few times same thing (dont have the tools to flash it)
I manage to enter sometimes after maxing the light lvl then turning off on for like 10 minutes doing crazy combos, but this is not solution and even when I enter its somewhat broken not blinkin right and cant set temp. Any fix for this?

Wow you’ve convinced me I’m going to order a 4000 and as you said, can always get another (:

I do love the 2000K. I’m sitting on the couch right now reason a book and that soft yellow light is so relaxing. In fact I’d love to get a D18 in 2000 and must keep it as a portable house lamp

D4SV2 not listed.

Care to elaborate ?

maybe it’s that you can’t buy it now

Nope, not listed. Link from 1st post - no options, no purchase

How is this battery:

Yep not on the website any more. I really hope there is a V3 but doubt it. Maybe a 21700 version.

Most likely it’s just out of stock. Ever since the infamous reddit thread, Hank hasn’t stopped getting business.

Great to hear! Please post a pic or two when you get whichever one your order, in.

Also, could you send a pic of the 2000k? Im so curious what these look like, even though I cant order it right now bc theyre not available…

I have one of these on the way, and I was wondering how it might run on a lifepo4 as I have a few of these idling in a drawer. Short runtime is the most obvious issue. Has anyone tried this.

You have some slim chance to use them, but mostly only at low to mid levels. This is very emitter type dependent. If there would be D4SV2 with a few lower forward voltage emitter options, it could be even fully useful, but for some emitter types, you will only just get past they being lit up.

I don’t know, what is the power cutoff limit on low voltage, but I guess, it should run until it gets below 2.8-2.9V - which means, you will need to know your battery model, because I have seen IFR (LiFePo4) batteries running near 3.2V most of the time only when current draw is low. When current draw gets higher, they can run anywhere lower in the 2.0-3.1V range, but the voltage will be nearly flat during most of the discharge time. You might want to look up your battery here as well for more info (Battery test-review 26650 comparator).

Thanks Adam, I see an A123 can be discharged at up to 30 amps so it seems heat might might need to watched too. I look forward to testing it. Hope it arrives before xmas.
