Lumintop GT nano on the way

Truth can be painful, especially when you have done something foolish and short sighted.

Indeed.

Anyway, if they are going in the right direction, that’s a great news.

Hopefully there’ll a 10440 tube included in the next batch.

I also hope so.

I have two versions, the one I tried was the second version with the bunny logo, the first version with only Lumintop engraving I don’t know if works, let me try and I’ll tell you something. :+1:

Here are some pics, the old version fits and works fine, but the threads are smoother in the latest version.

To get an idea of what is possible with 10180, Vinh offers modded GT Nano.

Surprisingly, there’s no CULNM1.TG with a better MCPCB.
But his numbers are:

Factory CULNM1.TG 6500K Performance at 2s: 450L, 33Kcd, 363m
XPL2 6500K Performance at 2s: 900L, 8.5Kcd, 184m
CULPM1.TG 6500K Performance at 2s: 560L, 18Kcd, 268m

4 days later with a lot of use, including turbo and the light is totally fine. It’s crazy they didn’t sell them in this configuration, I guess they hate money.

Enough buyers I guess, and one tube saved.

Thanks for the tip btw. Looks really good with the Ti3 tube :+1: .

You wouldn’t be interested in selling me the head off your old model would you?

I have been chasing the reflector out of an old model for quite some time. I need one with the larger opening like the old model had.

Sorry, I would like to keep using it.

Fast mobile phone beamshots, the first is an Emisar D4sV2, the second a GT Nano, both in turbo.

Would a lower discharge 10440 go easier on the LED? Is there a low-discharge 10440?

All they need to do is mount the LED on a DTP copper MCPCB and then it would be able to run on turbo all day long with any 10440 currently available

I understand that, but my nano has an aluminum board.

Edit: at least I assume so, serial number A0001S

Look at HKJ tests. There are a few cells 10440 that have high internal resistance and they will indeed push the LED weaker.

BTW I wonder what is the IR of the 10180 cells that Lumintop supplied with the light.
Are they just ordinary or maybe they are special?
Because 900 lm from 10180/XPL2 is surprisingly high, even if these are Vinh lumens.

So if you order from neal now, it would have the copper mcpcb?

Intrested with 10440

It would be nice if this came with a extra AAA tube but hey, IMHO, this is really a cute toy to show off, especially with it’s amazing throw, super tiny size and to use in emergencies.

I like that the charger that comes with it regulates the voltage to a safe output for the 10180 cell even if you use a charger with a higher output than 0.25V which is about perfect for a 10180 cell.

To me, an AAA tube destroys it’s “cuteness” but to each their own.

Anyone know who has the least expensive price on it? Never mind. Ordered it from Vinh. $30.00 and $3.03 shipping. Not bad.

Me too, AAA tube. Fortunately had an old Tool AAA that fits.
