What's your travel flashlight?

OTR U18 because it is my smallest 18650 with charging at the moment.

Lumitop tool 2.0.

2x 14400 and if needed can use AAs.

I keep an Acebeam X70 with spare handle, an HL55 and HM50R in my truck at all times.

That’s a serious SOB of a light.

This thread shows how much of an over packer I am.

Recent three weeks in Armenia:

Armytek wizard headlamp
Zebra h53w backup headlamp
KR1
Tool aa
Rovyvon a5

Along with some extra 18650s and eneloops

What did I actually USE?

Just the tool AA

The last time I travelled overnight, I carried my SC62 (not the sc62w because I might cry if I lost it) and my DQG Slim AA Ti, plus a small USB single-cell Li-Ion charger. The Slim AA looks better if I have to appear more formal, and it can also use AA in a pinch (though I carry it with 14500). Empty spare cell holder is packed somewhere - they’re basically disposable to me at this point, I have so many, and I can safely store cells there if needed.

Last trip was to Cardiff on the train with one night in a hotel. I tossed an S2 in my bag and didn’t need it.

Overseas trips, I put an D4S in my carry on. I pack a single cell USB powered charger in my checked bag.

I usually carry my triple Novatac 120T with me when traveling.

i dont travel much but if i would i would probably take the fw3a with me.

Depending where and how I’m traveling I generally have something simple like a convoy S2+ as its cost effective and does the job and not a total loss if it goes missing and as of recently a nitecore Tiki thats been attached to my keys.

It is a beast!

my D4V2 and my Manker E02 that never leaves my side anyway.

Jetbeam Rotary w sw45k

My travel flashlight is currently a Sofirn 淘宝网 - 淘!我喜欢

It never failed so far

Just got back from 3.5 weeks in the San Fran and L.A. areas and I brought my ET D25C Ti. clicky and my D4V2, which I hardly used.

Xtar XP1 and MC1+ were the chargers.

“What’s your travel flashlight?”

by air: cheapest.
TSA takes the good ones.

Why would they take flashlights?

I air travel with a SK68 and a pocket edc (DQG tiny aa) typically, camping is a different story, thrower (wurkkos ts30s), flooder (sp36), headlamp (sk40 or HD20) and something small for pocket (varies)

They really shouldn’t unless it has a some sort of weapon potential. TSA allows up to 160 watt hour capacity which for a flashlight is huge.

Weapon potential like this Wurkkos TS30s
