FireflyLite E12R 12*emitters 15000LM 1x21700 Flashlight

On the lower setting yes, but the specs state 1 min at turbo with no step down, which means the battery is draining scarily fast before it looses all it's steam which to me could be dangerous as it's putting immense pressure on that single battery. Maybe I'm wrong and there is a step down at turbo, but on the FF website it doesn't show it. It does state at the bottom that turbo is only available in the advanced UI not the simple UI to avoid over heating.

Nice. I see this tested with a 40T. If using 30T, it should make 13-14k and possibly brighter than the Marauder 2

This chart is confusing. Look at the 2nd picture under “1st Thermal Stepdown”. It steps down from 12,000lm to 2,580lm after 1 minute and then from there to 1200lm after 10 minutes if I am reading it right.

You're right, I should have opened my eyes more! Also states final stepdown to 1200lm will last 2 hrs which is pretty good really. I may sell both my rot66's and get one of these for fun.

The runtime and sustainable brightness of this light should put a lot of others with “direct drive”/PWM drivers to shame. IMO, this is pretty exciting to see our enthusiast brands using drivers like these.

It should be like having a Zebralight/Acebeam/etc quality driver with higher max output and more configurable UI, cheaper price, can upgrade firmware, more LED choices.

It's looking more interesting by the minute. Promised myself not to buy any new lights this year except from money made selling some of my lights, and this one may fit the bill.

I am interested in three Fireflylite E12R:

  • XPL-HI 5000K
  • XPL2-HD 5000K
  • LH351D 5000K

But you only offer the SST20 in 5000K.

With the Fireflies E07 and the ROT66 it was still different. Why this terrible pre-selection of color temperatures.

There’s no way it’s lasting a whole minute at 12000lm. 20-30 seconds seems more reasonable. 1 minute might work if the light is very cold or your hands are the same material as the light itself.

I just realized this thing can do 1200 lumens for 2.8 hours and 450 lumens for 7.5 hours!!!

If true, this is by faaaaaarrrrrrr the most efficient single cell 21700 flashlight in existence!

LH351D 5000K is my favourite choice by far. I may just hold out until FF decides to offer it.

Fireflies post this new programmer on its facebook page! FireflyLite Flashlight | Firefies pogo programmer key will be available soon, This pogo key is compatible with USBASP, and only supports to reflash drivers on new fireflies fl... | Facebook

Do anyone know if it is the same for emisar flashlight? This is big benefit for blf members!
I am very excited for this new flashlight. It looks like fireflies making some interesting new products

Pinout looks the same, so you can use Emissar flashing tool if you have one

Hank release new Noctigon 9.3:

The 12 led remind me of the Fireflies E12R with 12 leds, but it look like E12R is smaller and also use 21700 battery. Maybe Fireflies can consider making version with two channel also? It is good to have competition!

Do anyone who have recently ordered this light get some shipping confirmation, tracking number, etc?

Ordered mine 07.12.2020, got some kind of confirmation email on 11.12.2020, and that’s it. Nothing. So I wonder, maybe someone have received some tracking number? What should I expect next?

I don’t recall FF sending confirmation emails ever. I ordered a bunch of new FF lights at the beginning of this month but have not received any updates. Honestly I don’t expect them to ship until sometime in January. With the pandemic, it’s been hard to get emitters among other components. Also I rather they spend more time to get it right instead of rushing out the order. Normally I forget what flashlights I ordered until I receive them. I love the feeling of being surprised by the delivery.

I suppose everybody got this email :

I didn’t.

I did.

Indeed sir, a bit disappointed, but glad they are working to get it right.

Hmm. To cancel and order something else or wait it out?
