【convoy】H4 and B35AM options are updated

2020/12/22
I compared the flashlight with the L6 XHP70.2. From the naked eye, the brightness of the two is similar. I feel that this sample of mine is a little greenish, which should be due to the lack of red phosphor. Its light spot is relatively uniform, and there is no yellow-green on the edge of the light spot like XHP70.2.
I don’t have a spectrum tester, so I don’t know its true color rendering. If anyone has relevant test equipment and is interested in making a detailed review, please contact me and I will send samples for free.

I can test the L6 FC40 for output and color rendering. Please send me a private message. Can’t promise a full blown review, since I’m quite busy.

How quickly does a flashlight get hot compared to XHP70.2?

This is great! Thanks Simon for the update and willingness to develop lights we are interested in. And thank you to maukka for offering to test it!

This is a great opportunity for you Simon to reference your measurement values against Maukkas calibrated equipment, too!

Well,a small clicky light TIR lens 3/4modes (no strobe)
start 0,1 lm - 4 lm 25lm 100lm with reversible UI would be nice
with E21A 2000k

Simon, you should try the Luminus SST-70 with a 5A-6A driver in the L6. I installed one in my L6 and the beam is amazing. MUCH better than XHP70.2 and XHP50.2.

Simon, will you be releasing a conversion kit with GT-FC40 and driver for the L6?

I'm interested in driver only.

If 4A and it could fit M21C-U AND work on single-cell...hell yeah!

I recently received some more Convoy S2+ with coloured Osram CSLNM1 emitters. From left to right - .23 (Red), F1 (Green broad spectrum), .14 (Blue), and .FY (Orange-Yellow broad spectrum).

The broad spectrum Green and Orange-Yellow emitters are very interesting as there is still some colour rendering across the whole spectrum.

Unfortunately, it seems that the Red LED driver doesn’t appear to be functioning correctly. Both 100% and 20% appear to have the same output, and it looks like the temperature protection isn’t working as this light runs considerably hotter than the others.

How long do you think the AAA flashlight cannot exceed?

i have SST70 LED, i just thought the flux was low .

and i got SFT70 sample ,too

The driver has a built-in temperature control. Now the temperature is low in winter and the flashlight heats up slowly.

conversion kit?uhm
GT LED has 7070 size the same as XHP70.2
and the driver is 30mm diameter ,it’s designed specially for L6 host.

22mm driver in M21C-U
and this driver has 30mm diameter

Is the battery fully charged?

Good looking beam/tint is more odten better than screaming bluish bin.

Few fluxes less won’t mean a thing in order to keep neutral white beam.

I would go with SST-70 before i buy SST-40 or XHP50.2 3V anytime.

Too bad FC driver won’t be available in 22mm :(

Good that you mentioned E17/21, i’m thinking to install one in new T2 light. It would be great combo and even better in forgoten AAA

SBT90.2 LED SB bin.
25mm and 20mm MCPCB for SBT90.2

Christmas Gifts!

Rngwn’s items doesn’t have it

It depends, for keychain use smaller is better otherwise 75-80 x 14mm max.
I’d like smooth design
