Is low -> high now standard for all colors? Even black?
A time back the black C01s had the old H->L .

I’ve recently received:
- one blue and one orange directly ordered from sofirnlight.com
- two red from the AE Sofirn store
All are Low -> High
Did you (or anyone else) order the low->high from:
- the generic Page Not Found - Aliexpress.com
- or from the AE one that specifically says “Low to High” in the title Page Not Found - Aliexpress.com
I would like the low~~high one, but the first link offers extra discount for ordering 3 at once, so if those are also low~~>high that would be extra nice.

So I guess all but the black one are low->high, no matter where you order it? Maybe the only difference between above 2 links is the BLF engraving?
I ordered using https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32952525303.html because it was slightly cheaper and got low>high. I don’t think the engraving is different, no idea why they have two listings…

I ordered the two red mentioned earlier, and I have an ongoing order for one orange + one non-ano from the Sofirn AE store.

I just got the C01S and I can’t seem to get it into high mode at all. The manual says how to do it, but something isn’t working…

Earlier in this thread i saw some pictures of the driver board, but no real details—has anyone done a deep dive into the boost and controller circuits? Is it using Torex Semiconductors?
So what is the long term verdict on the unanodized version? Its the only one I haven’t got.
What do you want to know about it? It’s a C01S without anodization, just pure aluminum.

Got together another order and gonna try one unanodized.
I’ve had a non-anodized (raw) C01S since May 2019 and it’s actually still looking pretty nice. Granted, I take pretty good care of my lights. But I have been carrying it in my shorts every evening for the past nearly 2 years, using it daily. I really like the no-nonsense 2 mode driver and I’ve outfitted it with a trit and magnet.
Looks good can’t wait for mine.
Got my order from the 7th. Pretty fast. The unanodized one has sharper knurling. Think will order more unanodized.

It is not the quality of those TIRs someone found in Bulgaria (artifacts at the white wall), but you’ll see no artifacts in real situations. Much, much better than the original optics with its rings. Can recommend them.
